Hi Wilf. Clegg, we want to help you with your question, but we need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
you did not mention a DVI cable or a VGA cable are you using a DVI / VGA / S video video cable as well ? As usb is most likely just the power source for your projector !
did you turn on the projector first and then the computer ?https://www.manualslib.com/manual/384930...

SOURCE: Acer laptop stopped displaying to projector

Here is the deal. Right-click on desktop. Choose settings. Right-click on screen #2. Click on apply for new settings. The one additional problem you may encounter is the fact that the projector will display an area to the right of your laptop screen. In other words, move your mouse past the right edge on laptop screen. Look at projector image. See your mouse?

SOURCE: Dell 3100MP Projector - No Signal Check Cable

I think I had a similar problem- are you connecting to the right socket.? The VGA on the 3100MP socket is `VGA out` you might need to connect to the `DVI monitor in` socket ,possibly needing a male DVI connector that connects to a male VGA lead.(Maplins , if you are in UK ,sell one for about £10)

SOURCE: Sanyo Pro Xtrax Projector

not all computers are F4 - some are F7... - If there is not a small graphic on each Function button - just press and hold your function button and I'd start with F3 then F4 then F5 and so on - often your image will appear on the projection screen and disappear from your laptop - just re press Function and the appropriate key - you may also need to change your display - go to your control panel then display then settings and you will want 1024x768 - as far as cables you will need a male VGA that will plug into (usually blue) connection on your laptop and then depends on what type of projector you are using - it may take a VGA or RGB (5pin cable ~ red green blue horizontal vertical) make sure that in your menu settings that you have it set to the same as the input you have plugged into

I tend to use the VGA cable. Once connected, switch the laptop on until you get to the desktop, then switch on the projector. Some will see the signal, if not, simoultaneously press your FN and relevant 'F' key to send the signal out to the VGA. You may need to do this 3 times, once to send to projector, one to send back to laptop screen and then once to send the signal to both projector and laptop screen. Sometimes this can take a short amount of time. You may want to change the projector settings to the VGA input so it doesn't constantly search for a source. If you still have problems, go into properties on your laptop and advanced. you m,ay need to unclick the box saying 'Extend to..........' (You should find what I mean from this, I am in front of a pc therefore the settings are slightly different.)

If nothing then works, it may be your video card.

Good luck

I really need to download driver of pd100

This is an OUTPUT device, it doesn't have a "Driver" It It doesn't receive or give any instructions to or from the PC. It simply uses the Video & Audio, signal supplied from the source, usually a Laptop, and projects that image out.

No Signal

Try it with 75Hz for the second monitor and use the VGA input.

USB/serial is only for configuration.

LCD projector no signal message

Usually means that the computer is not sending a signal out the the projector via the monitor cable. Most Windows based laptop computers allow you to connect to a second monitor by pressing the Fn + F7 or F8 key, once to allow just the projector, twice to allow both the projector and laptop screen and three times back to only the laptop.
