Fully charge the buggy. I know I'm going back to basics here.
Try removing or disconnecting the batteries **one at a time**. Give the terminals and clamps a really good clean. Possibly give them a LIGHT rub with FINE sandpaper. I find a suede shoe brush works well for this job.
Once each battery is isolated test it's voltage. An 8 volt battery should read a strong 8.4 volts when fully charged.
Depending on how much use the buggy gets, batteries do get old and drop in performance. If you're still unsure get a good battery specialist to assess each one.

I would say you should check to make sure you are getting juice to the starter when you are trying to start it. This can be done with a simple voltmeter or 12v light tester. If you are getting juice, then the issue seems to be a bad starter. If you are getting juice the it could be the solenoid, ignition switch or a simple loose connection. I will be more than happy to help you get this up and running. First start by testing to make sure you have juice going to the ignition switch and the starter when you turn the key.
SOURCE: fuse 8 on 1990 allante is drawing down the battery. will completly drain battery in 2 days
Have you checked BCM input parameter BI61? That is the most common cause of the 2-3 day battery drain. Have you tried pulling fuse #8 under the ash tray for the CPS to see if that stops the drain? You can pull one of the plugs off the AC blower control module to isolate that. If you can not hear the blower motor running with the key off, that probably is not an issue.
alternator or associated wiring suspect... test for 14.4 volts at battery when all is hooked up proper and running.. if less replace alternator or diagnose further the wiring to and from alternator
Testimonial: "Thanks milespeed. The battery is running proper voltage when it is all hooked up, so it looks like alternator is the issue. The thing that is still confusing me is that I am able toget a voltage reading from my alternator as well, so it makes me think the wiring is no good."
