I would assume you mean a Super Nintendo or Original Nintendo or N64 the answer is yes. Most TVs have a TV option or Coaxial or Aux input setting you just need to set the TV up to that setting and plug your console in. If your TV doesn't have the old fashion cable plugin or the proper plugins on the back of your tv you will need to get an adapter I recommend amazon. Coaxial to HDMI run about 20-30 dollars and composite adapters run about 10-20 dollars

SOURCE: How do I connect a Nintendo 64 games system to a Hitachi TV?

Hi kdg 1026,
The wire from the Nintendo should have 3 plugs on the end. Yellow, Whit and Red.
OPn the baqck of the TV you have inputs that are color coded, Yellow, White and Red.
Plug the wires into the color coded inputs.
Turn on Nintendo. Press input button on your TV remote until you get the picture.
Let me know if this helps.

I have a 50" Emerson and I want to hook up the Wii system. The problem is that our local cable company is using all the a/v cables available.

You can always get a switcher and select what device goes to the tv without ever changing any cables again.

Got a brand new hdmi tv, hooked it up to wii, and the main screen is white, color is poor and cannot read anything

The resolution of your TV is over 720 pixels per inch (PPI)

The Nintendo Wii console can only handle 480 PPI

You may need to buy the adapter to hook the console to the HD components (R/G/B) instead of the standard composite (Y/R/W)

Here is one for cheap on Amazon:

I have a Samsung and just hooked up a Wii and am getting only black and white on the screen. How do I troubleshoot this? Thanks.

Your TV is probably an HDTV. Change the settings of your Wii to HD and it should have color. If you don't want to do that, make sure your RCA cables are pluged into the non-HD RCA slots on your TV and that the yellow cable goes to the yellow non-HD slot and not the green HD one.

Edge of the screen is cut off when using PS3/Xbox360/Computer

Well you did not included the gaming system so its impossable to diagnose but try to go into the game system video properties and set the resolution. if its a older gaming unit like beyond old like nintendo 64 then I am stunned you may have to set you TV to streach the sceen as its not to wide screen formats. If its like a Xbox360 you can order a special cable to go HD and this will summerized this problem do not use HD mode if you not using a HD cable set it for standard resoultion on your TV..

Plug in the wii system and everything comes in black and white

Try plugging it into another scart socket, this sometimes happens when a tv does not support 60hz. the result is a screen that has no colour. You could try just plugging it onto the seperate av inputs. Most tv's these days have one scart that will work ok and in colour.
