32'' CRT TV won't turn on after power surge. Stand by light keeps blinking
Its broken dont waste time fixing you probably have to buy a hole new circuitry system but buy a new lcd or plasma tv next time buy a power surge spike protector that way the next time this happens the light emitted diode in the spike protector will brake and your tv will be safe.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot the television not turning on:
Make sure the AC power cord is connected securely to a working wall outlet.
NOTE: If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, unplug it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.
Press the POWER button on the television.
Press the POWER button on the remote control that was supplied with the television.
NOTE: If the television turns on and off using the POWER button on the television but does not respond to the POWER button on the remote control, troubleshoot the remote control.
Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet for 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into a known working electrical outlet.
Attempt to turn on the television.
IMPORTANT for the following models only:

Unplugging the above television models from the electrical outlet may only be a temporary fix. The problem may reoccur after several months of use. To completely resolve the issue, a software update is available.
For all other models, service will be required if the troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue.
Your video card is either blown or needs reseating. Is your pc booting. Check with another monitor. Do you have an add on video card or is it onboard. This is not a monitor problem as a rule put a PC problem.
