I did not find any step by step instructions. I just took my time and took it apart. I got A schematic from here http://www.eserviceinfo.com/
enter the scd103 in search. You have to download
"ALL THE FILES" first, There are 9 files in which you have to get.
As for buying the CCD chip, I have not rally searched into buying one. As I bought A scd103 and A scd107 off E-Bay and put the 107 CCD chip into the 103. I can look around to help you find the chip.

SOURCE: Cannot move the chain by hand after the bar has been tightened.
First be sure the chain is on going in the right direction. When looking at the bottom of the bar the sharp tooth should be going towards the motor. When you put chain back on are the chain teeth properly engaged in the sprocket on the motor. Remove the cover again, check that teeth are in sprocket. Make sure pin from adjuster screw is engaged in the hole in the bar. Before you tighten the cover bolts, make sure chain will turn by hand. If not adjust the adjusting screw. Once adjusted, tighten cover bolts. Check again after tightening bar.
