I had the same problem & decide to attempt a repair, i.e. try & bypass the time control. 1st of all I couldn't get into the unit, seems to be sealed, removed the little switch by force to see if there was any screws below it, none, tried to lever the unit apart &, again, no joy. I gave up, snapped the little switch back into place, & turned it on. Believe it or not it's working!!!!! Don't know for how long but here's hoping. Derek Moffitt
There is a problem with the blanket. Since it started doing this just after washing (as per instructions), I suspect that somehow - running it thru the washer caused the problem.
Since it is an electrical device, if allowing to air dry thoroughly doesn't let it work as expected, you should stop powering it - and use it only as a non-powered blanket or discard and replace.
Hello vinrocof - Please try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Try setting the time and if it proves to be ineffective, the unit may possibly have a faulty EOC, defective wiring harness or damaged cord. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
