I have a GE JGB660SEJ1SS Range. The control panel was blinking and disappearing. Replaced the board with new. Doesn't light up at all. Gas jets do work.

You will probably have to replace the main control board- the cooktop operates independently of the ovens, so your symptom is not uncommon... GE Range Stove Oven Oven Control Board WB27T10416

Hello. One question has your range burner jets been changed to LP (liquid propane). If you are using natural gas jets for the burners and ovens this make the heat and flam fluctuate in temperature and the same for the oven. Natural gas jets are larger. One more thing here! There is a control valve spring with cap in the stove gas regulator that has to be taken out and turn around.


Search the operation manual on how to changes jets from natural gas to LP. In back of the stove behind one of the panels is a small cloth bag contain these LP jest and also there should be set of instruction in a bunch of languages.



If you are going to do this yourself--- DIY. Read those instruction ever carefully. There a bass ball valve that hook to the gas line before the flex stainless line behind you stove. Turn the nob to where it perpendicular to the gas line. Open the windows in the house and turn off all electric equipment such as, fans, toasters, don't be clicking the light switches off and on. Just a precaution for you and your family safety.



Check with your city zoning ordnance about home owner changing their gas jets in the range. Some cities and states won't allow you to due this. Then you will need a technician to preform this operation. I wish you and family well being and you safety first... GB you...stewbison

Unplug the unit and wait 2 FULL MINUTES before plugging it back in. That will reset the circuit board and you should be good to go. If it doesn't work, my bad!!!!!!

HI. This code is the result of a failed function key on the key pad, or control board. Some control boards will have the touch pad, or key pad combined with the actual control board, as one whole unit. If this is the case, simply have the main control board replaced. Now, if the touch/key pad is separate from the main control board, this will require you to gain access to the control board and key pad, and preform this test below to isolate the failed component.

Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:

1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.

2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

The control panel needs to be replaced

replace the oven control circuit board.

(sounds reasonable after looking up cost of control board)...

Closest I could get was to a $78 (us dollar) control panel

I have a spectra gas range and the broiler works but the oven doesn't. When I turn the

Check for power to the primary transformer on the control. You probably blew out the controller if you find 120 volts present to the board. You may also have blown the coil on your gas valve. Be careful here!

If this is a total gas range then it wouldn't hook up to 240. Check to see if top burners are working. The oven control board only controls the bake/broil. If the bake/broil is the only thing not working and all connections to the board are tight then replace the board.
