first open screw in backside and if you sure that all of them removed you can with thin card from the front you can begin to disassemble the cover.just you have to this job soft and carefully to don't damage the panel or monitor cover.
Your LG flatron resolution is
1366x768.. just change the settings on display properties at
1366x768, if there no available resolution, uninstall your display driver and reinstall your video driver, the process of driver installation detect your monitor resolution automatic <_>
This problem is usually caused by a failure in the power supply board which in turn is caused by a failure of the filter capacitors. Have you tried to substitute a different cable? Many times a cable can go bad, and you cannot tell, because of how they are made. Get a different cable to try as a replacement, and see if that doesn't resolve this issue.
