SOURCE: My Huawei Y3 mobile will ring but won't open when I hit the green phone.

when you touch the green phone , slide it sideways a bit
I had the same problem with a samsung J2 until I got the user manual and it said to slide the green phone out of the circle.
works like a charm now so it may be the same for yours

Sounds like the battery has reached the end of its usable life.

You'll have to check with the manufacturer to see if the battery can be replaced.
