I have a Tanaka Brush Cutter with a Huayi Carb. It runs when you fill the carb with fuel but does not suck fuel from the fuel tank and stops. I cleaned it several times

SOURCE: It won't stay running

You need to either clean the carb really good (take it apart) or rebuild it or both. Sounds like your needle is gummed up and not letting fuel through.

SOURCE: my cub cadet tank stops running 5-20 minuts after

Yes you may need a carb kit. It is not good practice to by-pass the fuel filter. The orifice in the jet is very small.
But anyways, There Could still be a blockage inside the carb, a small leak at the manifold, or the jet is worn out.
Let me know how it goes.

Assuming everything is back toether properly and was not the problem the frst place, remove the exhaust pipe to expose the exhaust ports to ensure they are not carbon block. Also check the exhaust it self for a spark arrestor screen that could hve been carbon fouled and clogged. Cannot free flow because of the problems noted above, you will not be able to run a two-stroke engine reliably.

SOURCE: Hi, I have a ryobi BC30 brush cutter my fuel lines

The small diameter line out of fuel tank (has filter in-tank on end) connects directly to the side of the carburetor that has the fuel pump....that is the cover without the hole in it. Other larger diameter fuel line out of tank connects to the longer nipple on the external purge/primer bulb. The bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to the carb and then out of the carb to itself, where it then "pushes" any air/old fuel back into the fuel tank. The remaining larger diameter fuel line in this setup goes from the metering chamber (has cover with writing on it and a vent-hole) side of the carburetor to the smaller nipple on the purge/primer bulb. Again, on the primer bulb, the longer nipple has a line going directly from it to the tank. This is the return line. The shorter nipple on the bub has a line from it going to the metering chamber side of the carb. If the purge/primer bulb is on top of the carb...small line from carb body to small hole in tank with filter. Larger diameter line goes from the bulb on the fuel pump side of the carb to the larger hole in the fuel tank where sometimes the line is held in place with a nylon nipple connector that keeps the line from pulling out of the tank. Otherwise, the line should enter the tank for about 1/2" or so

Why won't it start after running out of gas?

Hi Joe:
Don't know what "it" is, but the fuel pump needs to cycle enough to prime, the carb or injectors need to be filled with fuel.
If it is a carb, remove the air filter and look into the carb...... pump the throttle linkage...... the accelerator pump should squirt gas into the throat of the venturi. If there is no gas, a squirt of gas to prime won't hurt.

Hs45 does not prime properly and won't run at full revs

Replace the carbeurator and all fuel hoses. The circuits in the carb are stopped up and they are so small they can't be properly cleaned out.

Troybilt TB90BC fuel line schematic? I have replaced fuel lines that degraded with age and am uncerttain about the correct hook to tank, carburetor and primer. A diagram would help

easiest way to tell you is that the primer is there to pull the fuel through the carb. so fuel filter line goes from tank to carb, then from carb to primer and then back to tank as a return. if you forget which is the in line for the carb just hook with gas in a jar and try sucking it out of the jar. put filte rin a jar. and run line to carb , then line out of carb to primer and line back to jar as a return. if it pulls freely and fills the primer bulb your ready to go. if it pulls hard or not at all something is wrong.

I would like instructions on how to drain the carb for winter storage

Please do this: Get a fuel stabilizer such as StaBil, from your auto parts or motorcycle shop place. Go to the gas station, put the amount of stabilizer required in yourf tank, then fill the tank. Go for a little ride. When you get home, turn off the fuel valve. Let the engine run until it stop (runs out of gas). Store your bike in a cool, dry place.

The fuel lines on my ryobi stinger scorpion brushcutter have deteriorated, I;ve fitted new lines but I think I;ve connected them incorrectly, it won't run.

Fuel filter to bottom of carb. The suction port of primer to the top of carb outlet line to other port to tank.
To tell which port is outlet put your finger on one port and push bulb if the bulb collapses and doesn't return then that is the inlet (suction) side.

PS. I would buy some carb cleaner and gently spray in the inlets of the carbs (sometimes pieces of the fuel lines get in there).
Good luck!
