I have a two-year old Frigidaire GLTF2940FSO front loader washer that has stopped in the middle of a load leaving water in the drum and will produce a buzzing sound no matter what cycle you put it on. We have removed all of the clothes and most of the water but it still does not work. Only continues buzzing on all cycles we have tried. Help!!!

Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in to see if you can get it to reset? Would it buzz when you try to drain it? Does the door latch lock when it goes into the wash cycle? Usually the door latch locks when it goes into the wash cycle and stays locked. So it filled up, the door latch should lock, then should go into wash cycle. Then you said few minutes later it stops. How did you get the door open? reason i ask is Usually i would see the clothes get stuck inside the washer because the door latch is still locked when it stops. Was the door unlocked when it stoped. If so maybe something going on with the communication from the board to the door latch maybe. Did you try operatin the drain?

My Frigidaire gallery front loader series model GLTF2940FSO stopped working during quick load - water still in machine, started making buzzing/humming sound but wouldn't drain or finish cyle. Unplugg

Sounds like a bad start capacitor in your drive motor. Not expensive to fix, but you have to know what you're doing. If you're not handy at that sort of thing, I'd suggest a handyman who fixes washers.

MY FRONT LOADER LEAKS WATER FROM UNDERNETH THE DRUM ALL OVER HOW CAN I FIX THAT

You will have to tighten the bolts on the drum cover. You will have to remove the back cover to access the bolts. After you tighten the bolts the leak will stop.

Washer Stopped Spinning

My Frigidaire front loading washer is less than 2 years old and YES there is a belt, I am going to replace my 3rd belt this week.....the wheel on the back of the drum has moved enough, even after numberous times of tightening, that it has worn a HUGE hole in the back of the drum from the belts. I will NEVER buy another product from them again, due to not standing behind their product and sending a repair man to my home to fix it, then telling me that I will have to replace the drum....(ltf2940es0).
