My zanussi washer dray has a padlock on screen and will not work how do I remove it

Look on the washer for two buttons with a line between them with a padlock symbol in the middle of the line. (This line and label will be below the buttons and will be in a smaller font than the labels above the buttons.)

On the Zanussi ZWH7120, you need to press and hold the temperature and spin buttons for about 3 seconds to toggle the child lock feature on and off. On the Zanussi ZWH 6105, you have to press and hold the Spin and Option buttons for 6 seconds. On these models, the pair of buttons are button 2 and 3 on the front panel (on the left side of the row of buttons) .

Please add a comment with the model of your washer for specific information on that child lock feature. I hope this helps.

Our new Zanussi Lindo300 washing machine moves around quite dramatically when on spin due to vibrations even on 800rpm spin. I have to push machine back into position after washl. Can some one advise.

The load is unbalanced. Try moving heavier or bunched up clothes to a different place in the tub and watch it spin. You may have to rearrange the load slightly to keep the vibrations to a minimum.

I cant get child lock off zanussi 6kg 1200 and cant find the manual please help

Zanussi has several washer models with 6 KG capacity 1200 RPM spin speed specifications. You need the model number to find the manual here: http://www.zanussi.co.uk/support/manuals/ . The model number for a front load washer is inside the door on the lower right of the opening.

For the ZWG7120P, you need to press and hold both the Temperature and the Spin buttons for 6 seconds to toggle the lock on or off. (This time is approximate.) These are the two buttons closest to the program selector dial. There is a small padlock icon in a curved line below and between the buttons. The direct link to the manual for this model in English is http://www.electrolux-ui.com//DocumentDownLoad.aspx?DocURL=2010\132\948930EN.pdf .

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with your washer model if the above child lock directions do not work on your machine.

Rented apartment and zanussi ceramic hot is displaying letter L on the hob plate control. There are no manuals around but unit looks new.

The "L" indicates that the child safety lock is on.

You haven't stated which exact model you have, but on most Zanussi's you turn the hob on and then press and hold the + and - buttons together until the display changes from "L" to "0".

Note that on some models you must do this every time you turn the hob on, on some others the lock can be disabled.
