SOURCE: no connection between the fan remote and Ceiling fan

The remote-controlled fans that I've seen all have DIP switches in the transmitter (the "remote") and receiver (up by the fan). For the remote to operate the fan, both sets of switches have to be set to the same code. If you happened to bump the DIP switches (and change the code) while replacing the battery, the fan would no longer respond to the remote.

It's been four months since you posted this problem, so you've probably figured that out by now. Still, other users may run into the same problem occasionally.

SOURCE: Ceiling fan only running at highest speed

First, change the battery.  Second, turn off the power to the fan at the wall switch, if still installed.  If this doesn't fix it, it is probably dead.  Bring it back to Home Depot.  There may be a product bulletin.

SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote problem

You will most likely need to replace the receiver with a new one from hunter. The receiver is actually a complete controller and contains the receiver, relays (which you hear clicking) and starting condensors(large capacitors which hold a charge that is "dumped" over the windings to get the motor to start from a dead stop). These appear to be pretty tightly assembled unless you have a desire to start replacing parts "off the board."

SOURCE: fan won't go on

Possibly a bad receiver, contact Fan Man Lighting at 1-866-600-3267 and ask for Jason, he has 21 years experience with Casablanca

Does a kichler ceiling fan remote model # uc7206t have reverse?

www.kichler.com/customer-service.aspx

Almost all ceiling fans have reverse. The switch is usually on the side of the fan so one must get a ladder to get to it. Air flow to be up in winter and down in summer.

Light will not stay on kichler fan

Hey there, how's it going? Do you know which model of ceiling fan you have? Whether you do or don't, that's OK - I was going to suggest checking out this site below which has Kichler fan manuals available. If you don't find the one you need, let us know and we'll take a look for you through some other sites.

How to reverse kichler ceiling fan, UC7206T

Stock Kichler ceiling fan c. 2006, works with replacement remote control 337001WH hand-held unit from Amazon 2013. Started running backwards when two remotes were activated at the same time by accident. Random button pushing on two remotes simultaneously got it to go back to forward. (Apparently original remote hand-held transmitter had forward/reverse setting, but the substitute 337001WH transmitter doesn't. When two transmitters run at the same time, the fwd/rev code may be decoded in the collisions at the receiver. Thank goodness!)
