What is causing my Kenmore model 110.28322700 timer to not work correctly ?

When I put it on a 14 minute wash it doesn't allow any water into the washer but when I move the timer up to 12 minutes it fills up the washer & it starts washing plus it goes through the rinse cycle like it should. Everything is fine except for when it's on the 14 & 13 minute wash cycle. I'm thinking the contacts are bad in the timer. Does anyone know for certain ? Thank You

SOURCE: No pressure to drive swing arm.

Check first that no debris is blocking the holes in the spray arm where the water comes out, and clean out the holes. In case it will not solve your problem, it's look like a pump problem (the pump has two functions : drive water to the spray arms and to drain water out the washer). Open the rear panel and listen if the pump works during the wash cycle. In case it doesn't work, it should be replaced. Good luck !

SOURCE: Wash cycle not working...

Kerbri, it sounds like your pressure switch could be the culprit. Under the top console the switch will be on the left side. There will be a clear tube that runs from the tub to the switch. Take another piece of tubing about the same size in diameter, disconnect the tube to the pressure switch and connect the tube. Blow into the pressure switch and see if the washer starts agitating. If so, replace the pressure switch.. Another thing to check would be the harness to the motor, make sure it is on tight. Good luck

DOES IT DO THIS ON EVERY WASH OR SOMETIMES? IF SOMETIMES, CHECK LID SWITCH( THERE'S A LITTLE HOLE WHEN YOU OPEN THE LID, ON THE LID SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE PLASTIC PIECE THAT GOES IN THAT HOLE. THE SWITCH IS UNDER, INSIDE THAT HOLE. YOU CAN GET A PEN OR KEY TO SEE IF IT'S BROKEN.)

MY KENMORE WASHER , MODEL # 20712 991 70 SERIES FILLS WITH WATER AND NEVER GOES IN THE AGITATE MODE , IT JUST CONTINUES TO FILL(it would run over if allowed), WHEN YOU MANUALLY MOVE THE TIMER TO THE SPIN...

The water level sensor hose may have come off. This would require some dis-assembly to repair. Get the correct model number please to get a diagram.

I have a Kenmore/Whirlpool Washing machine model 110.26832691 that doesn't allow hot water into the tub. I have put a new timer as well as a new temperature switch. Any answer?

Hello

Please try to swap both the connections, hot to cold and cold to hot, swapping will hopefully work. If swapping wont work then the water inlet valve also known as inlet hose assembly is bad and needs replacement. Please check the water level switch as well although I believe it is the water inlet valve causing this problem.

Timer only works on heavy cycle not on normal model #11024632300

Could be a bad timer or loose contacts.
Unplug the washer.
Open the control console.
Remove the wire harness connector from the timer and re-insert it.
Also advance your timer manually 360 degrees around several times. This can cause stuck contacts to work correctly.
If this does not correct your problem you will need a new timer.

Model 110 stops with water in machine. Move dial to rinsing cycle. Runs some then stops with water in machine.

HI. The timer module will be the culprit here. The timer motor is malfunctioning. This motor is responsible for the forward motion of the timer dial. If it dose not function correctly, it will cause the issues that you are experiencing. kindly replace this damaged timer control device. Once replaced, the unit will operate properly.

Could it be that it has overheated? My mom's washing machine isn't a kenmore, but it has a mechanism that causes it to stall when it is overheated from constant use. After about 15 minutes it cools off and starts again.
