How would i fix error E42 on samsung CM1929 please? I unplug microwave and start again then its goes only 7 secound then E42 come up again. twice i replace new pcb on it and its work fine 2 month only

Contact Samsung, I was having a similar problem with the SE error appearing on my microwave. Apparently its a problem with the control panel and they are going to replace it free of charge under there epidemic warranty

if you have not plugged out the microwave...then do so now.the trick is that when you plug out the microwave it will reset the microchip.after you have plugged it out ....then you plug it back in after about an hour.if that does not work then it is time to look for a tech to repair your microwave.the problem is that the diode or the cap is bad.

E42 is a High voltage transformer (HVT-II) error. This can be caused by a bad HV transformer, a bad high voltage diode, a broken wire / burned terminal or a bad capacitor. The only way to confirm which one has failed is to read the circuitry with a meter and do a Visual inspection.

Mine just started today too. I am thinking of taking a ball bat to it. Samsung foriegn made piece of shit.

SE probably means a sensor error.

The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

Otherwise, it may have a problem with the control panelm such as moisture or contamination or a bad connection.
