SOURCE: cast iron pans

Cast iron cookware is NOT recommended due to the weight and the potential damage it can cause to the glass top surface. There's nothing better than a good old-fashioned cast iron skillet that's been broken in over a number of years of use, but they are better suited for gas ranges rather than electric. I hate it. I have several cast iron skillets that I only use on the outdoor grill, because I currently own a glass top electric range.

Aluminum bottom pans and copper bottom pans heat well, but can leave metal transfer marks on the cook top surface. If the marks are cleaned after use with an approved stove top cleaner, you shouldn't have any problem retaining the condition of the glass surface, however. Stainless Steel seems to offer good resistance to metal transfer, but takes a little longer to heat than aluminum or copper. So...you have somewhat of a trade off. Baked enamel cookware seems to be the best recommendation because it heats wells and causes the least amount of damage to your glass top surface.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the bottom of your cookware is FLAT. If your pans are warped or bowed, this can cause uneven heat transfer on the heating elements and potentially cause the cook top to crack. Most manufacturers will not replace the top if it still under warranty if it is determined that your cookware caused the problem.

A little over kill, but I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: CAN YOU USE CAST IRON SKILLETS ON RADIANT GLASS COOK TOPS?

you CAN use the skillet, but not with great results id assume, it holds too much heat, and problaby a bit too rough underneath and would probably scratch the glass top, in a family business for over 20 yrs. now and thats my recomendation, my brother also in the same feild swears his wife uses it with no issues!!!

SOURCE: Connection problems with Panasonic Viera Cast

I have had the same problem with my Panny DMR-BS850 which was resolved by changing the ethernet cable I was using which had only 4 contacts on each plug end for one which has 8 contacts. I tried all variations & combinations of IP & DNS before buying the new cable from my local pc store (£10 for 10m cable) and was relieved when setting the system to auto connect it worked within 3 mins. I think the slight delay was the router setting up a new address for the new hardware it detected.
My new cable states on it "Verified For Gigabit Ethernet" and is Cat 5e rated and I was assured that it will carry data for runs up to 95m long, which is contrary to the Panasonic support agent who told me to shorten my initial 5m cable to prevent signal degradation.

Give it a try.. it might just work.

How to use miracast with iPhone

This says no, but others say yes. You do have a Smart tv?

No, iPhones do not support Miracast. Miracast is a screen-mirroring technology that is primarily used on Android devices and some Windows PCs. iPhones use Apple's proprietary AirPlay technology for screen mirroring, which allows them to stream audio, video, and photos to compatible Apple devices such as Apple TV.

Screen mirroring for Roshan smart tv to my Samsung phone

Under your settings menu on your TV there should be an option for allowing a connection to devices casting to the TV. Ensure your TV is capable of this first. If you provide the model number of the Roshan I can be of more help.

After you've verified that your TV is connected to the same Wifi network as your Samsung phone, swipe down from the top of your Samsung, swipe down again to bring up the device controls. Scroll right until you find the icon titled "Smart View". Click on it and it will scan your network for compatible devices to cast your phone to for mirroring or playback. Your Roshan, if configured correctly, should be displayed in this menu.
