I have a sharp model SPC906 atomic clock with weather and outdoor temp. the outdoor temp is not being reqad inside. What can try to repair, or where can I find a replacement??

The remote sensor/transmitter was knocked off the porch into the weather. the batteries still read 2.95 vdc. But no signal is transmitted to wall unit. I have reset the remot unit several times, no change. I have reset the ch on the remote several times, no change. I have reset the main wall mount unit several times, no change. there was a broken power lead on the pcb, I repaired the connection no change. What else is there for me to try to repair the remote unit? If not where can I purchase a replacement? Thanks for any help

After replacing the transmitter batteries several times, I tried replacing the clock batteries. They must have been getting low. Once I put in new batteries in the clock it worked fine. Good Luck.

Hello jdb..... The outdoor transmitter needs to undergo a wee bit of maintenance. Remove those new batteries and clean the battery contacts with the eraser on the end of a common pencil. Then replace the batteries. IF you notice that the batteries slide in easily, use a small flat blade screwdriver to gently lift the battery contacts to increase the contact when you do slide the new batteries in. Joe

Look carefully at the back of your clock for a reset button. The temp may have encountered a problem and stopped working. Also, be sure the battery is fresh. Hope this helps.

I too had one of those Sharp brand atomic clocks. They are notorious for bad remote temp. sensors.
Don't waste your time. Send the clock to landfill heaven and buy a different brand.

I have the Atomic Clock model W86111. I had to change the batteries on the outside device. The clock outside temp just flashes 63.5 all the time. How do I make it sync to the device outside?

Remove all batteries from outdoor sensor and weather station.

Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear all memory.

Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding (there may be lines painted on
the screen that will show when power is removed).

Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important).

Insert fresh batteries into the clock.

Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor.

Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit RF signal.

Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the forecast station.

When RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the
outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong
connection.

WEATHER STATION AC100MB stops transmitting outdoor temp

I have experienced the same with numerous different, "quote un quote" atomic clocks! Please don't forget that this sender unit, that goes outside, generates a RF Singal to be received by the clock inside. This unit transmits a signal 433 MHz signal approximately every. 3 minutes, and after so many years the sender unit's RF section(electronics) just goes out or no longer function properly or not at all! The transmitter/sender for this model number, according to "3M" is obsolete and can no longer be furnished, DRATTS !!!!!

My oregon scientific indoor outdoor weather station with atomic clock just stopped picking up the outdoor readings, it won't switch to that channel any longer. tried removing and reinstalling the battery,...

I had the same problem, Since the outside temp wouldn't read, I figured it was the outside unit batteries. Went through half a dozen AAA batteries and wouldn't read. It was the indoor unit. Had the same bats I installed 3 years ago. DUH! Replaced the AAA, and all was well. When the inside batteries die out, it has just enough juice to read indoor temp, but not enought to sense exterior signal.
