If you talking about wireless telephones, there is usually a bonding process you have to do on the wireless handset to get it to sync with the base. Look on the menu option of the wireless handset and see if you see an option for it.

My controler for my ps3 is not working

Unless the controller hardware has failed, I'd surmise it has somehow lost its wireless pairing (setup of identification and link with the base unit). Connect the controller to the base unit with a USB cable and turn the base unit on. The pairing will be done automatically. Next, give the controller an ID number between 1 and 7.
Once that is done, you should be able to disconnect the USB cable and use the controller normally. (You do not have to turn off power to disconnect a USB cable.) If the Playstation base does not recognize the controller when it is plugged in with the USB cable, the controller has a bad part inside.
If the controller works normally when plugged in, but not in wireless mode, there is a problem with the wireless operation. This could be either failure in the controller or base unit, or interference from some other device nearby. For example, a furnace igniter emits RF energy over a wide range of frequencies; if the controller works only when the furnace igniter is not running (you can hear the sparks on an AM radio while it runs), then the furnace ignition circuit is the real culprit, and you should check its ground wiring.

The headset does not come on

CS70 headset does not come on:

If the CS70 base has lights, to show that it is getting electrical power, you may need to re-pair the headset to the base unit (the headset will usually just beep when you press the button). Here is the link for subscription or how to re-pair the headset and base.

http://www.headsetsdirect.com/plantronics-cs70n-subscription-pairing-instructions

If the headset doesn't beep or anything when the button is pressed, and the base has lights, it could be that the internal battery has worn out and the headset needs to be replaced. The CS70 is an older model that has been discontinued for a few years, however you can get the CS70N replacement headset which will work on your base.

Sounds like your receiver has quit working. To program the remotes do this: Press and hold the button on the remote while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Do this for each remote. If this doesn't work your logic board is bad.

Model RAR188A Tried to change battery on remote sensor. Still doesn't work. I think I have to reset it but can't remember how.

Both the remote and base units have a very small hole near the battery spot, less than 1/8" in diameter. Push something smaller than the hole into it, like the end of an unbent paper clip. The base unit, at least, will give a tiny beep and it will have reset. The remote may not beep, but also will be reset.

88900 Atomic Clock does not read time and temperature.

Batteries must come out of both the temperature sensor (transmitter) and base (clock and temperature display). Leave out for about 4 minutes. Replace the batteries in the temperature sensor FIRST and set it about 5 - 10 feet away from the base. Replace the batteries in the base and leave them both set without touching any buttons for at least 15 minutes (usually only takes 5 minutes or so). The temperature should start to display. You can set the clock manually to the correct time and have it get the updates via radio in the evening or night. Should work after all this just fine. (have done it alot of times this way over the years)

Good luck.

Sounds like a defective battery or low battery.
1. Have you replaced the battery?
2. Have you changed the channel?
3. Have you dropped it?
