Reset it, start it with the right door open, go to service mode, clear the counters for drum and developer and go to functions menu. Close the right door and start immediately the F8 function. It should work.

C2557 for Toner Density Control abnormality in Developer.
Try in this sequence..
1-Check Toner, if Empty, Reset code and install new toner bottle.
2- if not from above, Then replace Developer and Developing Unit.
3-if Not, then check Hopper Unit, Clean Sensor and Solenoid.
Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST. IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. tha minolta di3510 developer unit looks the same as the unit for the konica minolta bizhub 350 but the toner sensor in the minolta unit uses a different voltage range for the toner sensor and it will throw this code make sure you have the correct unit for this machine also you can try this go back into tech rep mode and change these settings: select tech rep choice mode select printer tab select atdc sensor gain set the value to about 165 then back all the way out to the ready screen and power the machine off then back on and replenish toner in the user management screen.
