Zenith xbr413 I Recorded Several dvds just to find out that I can not play them on any other dvd player.The question is: why can't I pley them on the other dvd pleyers?How can I get the owner's manual for the same dvd/vcr recorder/player.

The DVD player is defective, you will need to replace it because they are not rep[aired due to the cost being so low for new.

You might consider after making the first if your computer is capable of making fast copies with it.

The problem is not the dvds themselfs it is the other play that you are trying to play them in (some players do not play DVD- and DVD+ or any other of self recorded disks) Look on the players box to see all what types of disks it can play!

I have the XBR616 zenith combo.
If your dead set on initializing your dvds, I can try to
do one in my dvd player to see if it works, then send it back to you. I can't guarantee anything, my player is a bit fussy, but I don't mind helping you.

I have a Zenith XBR413 that I have a problem with when I copy from VCR tapes to DVD-R discs. After I copy them, I can finalize the disc using the SETUP button on the remote and then choosing the very bottom disc icon at the bottom of the menu screen. It then leads you through the finalization procedure. But the disc will still not play on any DVD player but the XBR413

If the VCR tape has copy protection on it, I could see it doing this.

You will have to obtain a remote ,you can not get channels without the remote
