SOURCE: Black and Decker battery charger does not work.

Black & decker chargers and bulbs for the light are JUNK..Don't waste your money on their products.I have 2 chargers for the 24 volt batts-1 is only 2 months old-It blew the fuse {soldered to the circuit board} I'm putting in a fuse holder but don't know the amp of the fuse-I'm starting with a 1 amp slo-blo and going up until it works or goes up in smoke..I had loads of problems with this B&D 3 piece set---It's only 1 year old..Total waste of money..

Charger light doesn't come on

If you're not willing to play with the circuits here, you could solve the question by going and getting just a new battery or borrowing a known good battery and seeing how the charger reacts. This will at minimum let you know if the charger is bad or if your battery is bad.

I am in Canada and I cannot get a Black & Decker 36V charger which is LCS36. The B & D 36V battery looks identical to the Dewalt 36V battery but I cannot be positive. Do you know if the B & D LBXR36...

What I do know is that some NiCd 12V Black decker batteries that look similar to the dewalt ones they are charged by the dewalt charger.
But there are 12V Nicd black and decker batteries that they can not be charged due to an extra plastic edge that does not allow to be charged by the dewalt charger.
Now if you do have the dewalt lithium 36V charger and if the black and decker battery is a 36V lithium one and can not be charged due to a plastic edge then I would recommend to risk to destroy the plastic edge in order the black and decker battery to be charged.

My porter cable 19.2v model 8605 battery charger

Porter Cable has not offered a replacement for their poorly designed 19.2V chargers. I had the same problem and happen to like my drill and circular saw. I found a universal charger called a model number CHUN-2420. Google it--I got mine for $27 plus shipping. All you need to do to make this work is splice 3 wires.

My charger is a PC model 8624, so the instructions might vary slightly between the chargers. Remove the six screws on the bottom of your PC charger. Remove the bottom section. Remove the screw(s) that attach the circuit card to the plastic housing. Disconnect the 3 pin white charging connector from the circuit card, and cutoff the connector. Discard the circuit card and power cord. Cut the 3 conductor (red/yellow/black) cable coming out of the Chun-2420 approximately 2' from the charger. Splice these three wires to the three wires in the charger housing that connect to your battery. In my situation, Red/Red, Yellow/Yellow, White/Black. To verify, red=positive, black/white=negative, yellow=temperature sensor. Wrap the red/yellow/black cable with electrical tape where it exits the PC charger through the power cord hole. Re-attach the bottom.

I just wonder i can still get battery charger for black decker cordless drill mode is ps3600 because my old one is not working i need new one

Menards or Home Depot sell chargers for cordless power tools. Pricey, but obviously needed. The Black & Decker model battery you own should fit the newest chargers no problem.

Charger not charging have 2 new chargers neither 1 will work for black& decker 18 volt cordless

You should probably contact Customer Service regarding this. I'd say it's a problem with the batteries rather than the chargers considering this looks like a recent EPC model - 1800 444 224
