SOURCE: "Can you replace only the toilet bowl and use the existing tank"

Its usually better to buy the set, but if you don't want too that's fine. As long as the water capacity of your old tank is what the new bowl requires. If you look at the set at the store, it will usually tell you the water capacity and specs of the new bowl. Although most bowls use the same holes and bolts to combine the tank and bowl, make sure the old tank will fit on the new bowl you selected.

SOURCE: Toilet won't shut off

Does it leak from the overflow? If so then the washer at the top of the Fluidmaster needs to be replaced. If it is not going over the overflow then you will need to replace the flapper on the flush valve.

SOURCE: Kohler Cimarron elongated comfort height toilet not flushing correctly

low water in the bowl is only caused by the float being to high! the gurgles is Usually because of air coming back up through the pipe, check your vent pipe that come out the roof. this will help the draining.

I have a 2yr old Kohler K4634 toilet. After flushing the water level drops about 1 inch in the bowl after the bowl filled. This causes a lower level in the bowl than is recommended. The main issue

check to see if waster continues to run into the bowl after the plunger has returned to stop water flowing. If it is a slow leak then replace the flush washer on the stopper plunger.

Leaking on the floor

I would start at the tube coming off of the fill valve. it often works its way out of the center stand pipe inside the tank. if not i would check the tank to bowl bolts and the gasket in between the tank to bowl.

The bowl will not hold water. This is the second toilet we tried because Kohler thought it may be a faulty tank but same problem. Everything works correctly in the tank but after flushing the bowl will...

the tube that goes from the fill valve to the fill tube may not be installed correctly. the water must be going in the tube and not the tank. also it is a water conserving toilet so it uses less water also it is a comfort height toilet and to make it taller the bowl is extended so the water may seem even more shallow.

Water in bowl. water level almost below where bowl saris to widen! , Kohler cimmarron - Toilet tank is full, all water flushes out of tank when flushed it's been this way since we installed it

If I understand correctly, your water level inside the bowl is 3 or 4 inches from the top of toilet seat?
Sounds peculiar to have that water level since you would get splashing etc.
That is not sanitary, and would be a code violation.
Look at side profile of tank.
Look at porcelain behind bowl and you can see outline of "s trap."
This is the internal trap that each toilet has built in.
Purpose of trap is to a) set water level inside bowl and b) just like a sink trap, seal pipe from sewer air from entering home.
Photo shows trap on sample toilet, with line showing approximate level of water inside bowl.
Since photo is at an angle, the line appears to go downward instead of level. Again the line is approximation, and photo intended to show where you can look on your toilet.
Your tank should have similar s-trap feature. From the feature on your tank, you can see what level water is intended to be inside bowl.
Some more expensive tanks, outline of s-trap is not apparent.

If the water level is so high that you experience unsanitary conditions, this is a code violation, and toilet should be replaced.

I have the Kohler model 703 one piece toilet. It runs once about every ten minutes. It sounds just like a flush but nothing happens in the bowl. Any ideas?

Something is leaking. Your description sounds like tank water is slowly leaking and then the tank refills. You really need to use Kohler brand parts, as others pieces seem to not work well.

My kohler toilet is only about 1 year old. no problems with the flush but the bowl only fills up with about half the amount of the normal water. I looked inside an all seems to be connected. Thanks

You might follow this link to see if you can adjust the water level:

Kohler Highline Class V tech toilet. Bowl does not fill. Why? What can I do to fix it?

Check tank for fill line running from fill valve to overflow tube. It will be a 1/4 " line that allows the tank and bowl to fill. It should be connected from fill valve and connected at the top of overflow by a clip or hanger.

Check out the water level in tank to make sure it is filling to line on overflow or within 5/8" to top of overflow pipe.

Place a few drops of food coloring in the tank of the toilet, if it is leaking you will see the color seep into the toilet bowl within a short period of time. If you see the food color in the toilet bowl you will need to replace the flapper.
