My unit tells me to insert fresh batteries into the outside sending unit first. then insert new batteries into the inside receiving unit. after the outside temperature shows up, then can reset my inside unit's time, choose F or C and
switch channels. please try changing channels if your
outside temp doesn't show. you can do both units in the house then put one outside after they work properly.

Lacrosse Tech #9031 - Outside temp display is 25 to 35 degrees high - can I adjust or what's needs to be replaced?

First try fresh batteries in both the base and the outdoor transmitter. If that doesnt correct the problem, replace outdoor transmitter.

SS 5010 not sensing outside temperature. I replaced the batteries in the transmitter and pressed the TX. However, the display inside just keeps blinking. I can see the inside temperature.

Inside temp is separate from outside...no connection whatsoever. If the outside transmitter has new power and fails, it may have gotten wet inside and may be rendered useless. Replace with a new outdoor transmitter.

Hi.. I have a defy upright freezer.. it is currently displaying an error "c2 !". Defy say this is because of the change in outside temp. Is this true, how long is it supposed to last? Many thanks.

If unit is not in a controlled environment yes temp will be confused and will take 24 hour to correct but if outside temp is changed it will do again and again all units designed for controlled temp room not outside in garage or out buildings with no heat or cooling controled room

Wa 1070t willnot transmit signal from the outside sensors to the display

I have a WA-1070T with same problem
brand new would not communicate

look very carefully at the positive end of the battery connections in the outdoor transmitter

One of the two batteries were not making a connection

I had to cut out a small piece of plastic that interfered with battery alignment

As soon as batteries are installed in remote transmitter you will see a red LED flash a few times

After I made this correction everything worked

How to set up garage door opener on my 2002 diamante

Detail Instructions from the owner's manual 1. Turn off engine
2. Prepare transmitter by erasing all three of the factory default channels by holding down the two outside buttons until the red light begins to flash. Release both buttons.
3. Hold the end of your hand-held transmitter (garage door remote) against the Homelink transmitter keeping the red light within the Homelink icon in view.
4. Using both hands push the hand-held transmitter button and the deisre button to be programmed on the Homelink transmitter. Do not release the buttons at this time.
5. Hold down both buttons until the red light on the universal transmitter flashes, first slowly then rapidly. When the light flashes rapidly, release both buttons.
To program the remaining two buttons, follow steps 3-5.

I have a GE air conditioner with ditigal panel. I

Wash out outside coil from time to time. This is the most over looked part of window units. Take care not to spray water directly into fan motor. If not real humid in house check temp coming out of ac inside and make sure filter and coil are clean. run on high speed and the air should have good force. 20 to 30 degree temp drop of room temp should be about right. Much depend on outside temp and humidity and indoor humidity plus insulation factor of area. How many people are in the area and if you keep unit on day and night .

Also,

If you have lost the outside temperature on the clock display after replacing the transmitter battery then do the following:

1. Make sure you have good batteries installed in the remote transmitter
2. Remove the batteries from the main clock and keep them out until the clock display disappers.
3. Re-install the batteries in the clock.
4. Wait until the display returns and includes the outside temperature display as well.
5. Set the clock again for current time/date etc.
6. Bingo. You are in business.

Remote Sensor

make sure your time is set and the atomic clock time is recieved, then leaving the rear cover off of the transmitter, push the "tx" button not the "c/f" that is just for centegrade or ferenhight. you will see the red light on the front of reciever flash in a few seconds. The temp should display on your clock screen. If not, did the red l.e.d. light on transmitter flash. If not, its not sending data to clock. I have to reset and hit transmit every time I replace batteries on transmitter. Had no problems for over 2 years of using outside. If your not getting a reading with transmitter sitting next to clock after hitting "tx" button you may have defective transmitter.
