Starts Great cold, Will not start when hot

Usually it's the opposite lol...but this is a normal issue sometimes when too much oil is added into the oil cavity. Then what happens is the oil gets hot and thins out creeping past the piston rings, next time you go to start it, it's basically too oiled up,wet... combustion suffers.. check the oil level, spray carburetor cleaner into the plug and the carburetor if possible. Restart the mower and let it burn off the excess oil. If this until has a thermostat, double check to make sure that it's not closing off and choking out the air flow.

Toro zero turn mower with Kawasaki 691v 24.0 horse motor starts cutting out and smoking after running for about 20 minutes.

Check the oil to make sure you don't have gas getting in your oil. If that's not a problem then you may have a leaking head gasket.

I have an ex ark mower with a 23hp Kawasaki and I noticed a big oil spot up under it yesterday. So I cranked it up to see the problem and pulled it under the garage and shut it off. Jacked it up to look...

This means you have a leak that needs attention. If you do not know where it is coming from you need to take it to an expert. It's too easy to assume you know but get into an expensive job if you play with it. I know as I have been there and done that.

Oil in carburetor

Make sure your air filter is clean, if it gets dirty and or plugged then it causes it to **** oil out of the crankcase through the pcv valve

How do i adj the valves on a 23hp kawasaki ?

You need to remove the rocker arm cover. Then most engines have a set screw and a locking nut that hold the valve rocker arm on. Loosen the locking nut and with a feeler gage make whatever adjustment you need (tighten or loosen) then holding the adjusting screw from turning, tighten the lock nut. It is not very hard to do and remember that they are all metric fasteners.
