Hello, I use a yamaha e433 keyboard which was working perfectly. There was a day the power supply to my home was very low such that it can't even charge a mobile, so my cousin connected wire to the...

So to confirm he connected power directly to the battery springs?
What voltage did he connect to those springs?
If it was more than 12v you have almost certainly done some internal damage.
As best you may have blown a few diodes which are there to protect from small voltage overruns - at worst probably burnt out the motherboard.

If you do not know how to check these it is probably advisable to take to a repair centre.

Purring sound on Bernina 530

If it is the new Bernina 530 computerized model, they do make a particular sound when started up. My 440 makes a peculiar sound at startup, but I've become used to it. I believe part of it is setting the machine to the default settings, ie positioning the needle, etc.

MIDI Basics

MIDI is the language used by electronic instruments to tell each other what to play. When you press a key on a musical keyboard this keyboard will send a MIDI message to a computer or a musical instrument connected. The message says something like: start playing this note at this volume. When you stop pressing the key a new message is sent which says: stop playing this note.
MIDI messages can be transmitted using MIDI cables or USB. Old instruments had MIDI ports (round with five connectors inside) so a computer had to have a MIDI interface. Nowadays it's almost all done with usb.
The important thing to remember is that a MIDI message (and a MIDI cable) are just an instruction to play, they don't contain sound. The sound you hear when you press a key comes from the computer or the instrument connected to the keyboard, not from the plastic key you have pressed.
There is a lot more to say, but I would suggest you check wikipedia first and then come back with more specific questions.

Sound error

Check the computer is not in a muted state,
Make sure the headphones and speakers are in the correct sound port.
Make sure you have selected the sound card to use.
Make sure the driver is installed for the sound card.

You can check the if the sound card driver is installed by going to device manger and checking if the sound card is listed under the sound, video and game controls.
If the sound card is listed and there is a symbol like an ! mark then it may not be installed right.
If you cant find the sound card in device manager then the computer is not recognizing the card, so make sure it is in the right PCI slot etc..
