Hello drea_mike67,

There may be any number of storage device faults causing the no disk exception error message. For instance, a usb device may have been removed without choosing the 'safely remove hardware' option. If that's the case then reconnect the usb device and choose 'safely remove hardware' (bottom right hand corner of your PC screen), and then remove the USB device.

If the error message still comes up then try using the device manager in the windows control panel like this:

•Opening the Control Panel
The Windows Control Panel can be opened by:
Selecting *Start > Control Panel (on Windows Vista)
- OR -
Start > Run > Type 'Control' and select OK (on Windows XP)

In the Control Panel, do the following:
•Select System
•Select the Hardware tab
•Select Device Manager
•Look for disk drives or other drives that are not used or recognized...
•Right click the device(s) and select uninstall

If this solution is helpful please click 'YES' by 'Was this helpful?' below.

Have a great day,

There is a message that comes up on my screen that says exception processing message c0000013 parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c and then on the top it says windows-no disk and it says cancel try...

solution provided by timeformjohn is misleading, and completely useless. this issue is not related to norton at all.

Also the steps included are a complete waste of anyones time.

Windows - no disk exception processing message c0000013 parameter

Here is a site that fixes this problem with the error:
http://www.consumingexperience.com/2007/11/windows-no-disk-exception-processing.html

For your memory problem you will need to add more physical memory to your system. Physical memory is a chip that is installed into your computer. Requires that you open the computer case and install the memory chip.

WINDOWS- NO DISK

I'm not sure if this is the problem, there seems to be many different causes. Click on Start, Run, type msconfig, then click ok. select the startup tab, then scroll through the list to see if there is an entry for dit.exe. If you find it, uncheck the checkbox, click apply, then exit from the dialog box. Restart windows and see if the problem is resolved.

If this item is not in the list, then there may have been a problem with the uninstallation of norton antivirus software. For some reason, in the computers that the problem occurs, Norton was not able to uninstall fully. The problem also seems to occur after updates are installed from windows update.

Freecom hard drive problem?

Unless you "GHOST" or "CLONE" the programsd over to the harddrive, instead of just copy and paste, they will not open. What you will have to do mo0re than likely is remove the installation files through control panel and reinstall the program onto the external harddrive.
