EZGO golf cart will not go

It's possible that the motor, solenoid, or wiring has become disconnected or damaged. I recommend starting with a basic inspection of all the connections, wires, and components. If all looks alright, then you may need to have the motor and solenoid tested. If there is still no luck, then you may need to replace the EZGO golf cart motor or solenoid.

SLUggish golf cart 36 volt new batteries won't pull up hill after18 holes

Take it to a pro who will check and see if your new batteries are charging up to where they should be. Check the generator out put and see if the motor is working properly. Even new batteries have been known to fail and only charge 50 percent.

2008 Precedent Excel Golf Cart has Electrical short. Drains Batteries. Replaced batteries. Cart works. Short still there. How do I find short??

multimeter and the battery off. test resistance with everything off, if resistance. remove connections till there is no signal and then test the connections on the cable remove and trace this part with the meter till you find the fault. as its draining with no power being switched on. it could be the switch or the regulator for the motor.

How can I Speed up my 2004 Yamaha 36 v golf cart short of changing motor

If you are getting full voltage to the motor and that is the best you can do, then you have no recourse other than to change the motor.

Why did it stop and it will not run? And the batteries are good

If you are sure the batteries are good and have been fully charged and the tested then it is in the wiring or the motor itself. Pull the motor out first and bench test it with a power source to see if it works out of the unit. If it does then it is in the wiring.

Club car golf cart will only travel 3 ft. then cuts off.

See if the motor is bad. If the motor is getting really old the bearings in it may be getting to where they do not turn so easily anymore. On some electric golf carts there is a pressure switch under the seat that if you are not sitting in the cart it will stop the motor for safety reasons. If this switch goes bad then the cart does not know if you are sitting there or not. We used to test these switches by jumping the wires of the switch together to fool the cart into thinking that we were always sitting on the thing. It is a good way to test the switch but not a great way to keep it that way, that switch is there for a reason. If it is bad then get a replacement.

*NOTE: Not all carts have this switch, check with the manufacturer.
