Please retype that, ok. (I can not understand this)
what PC is it full name and model.?
what OS are you running.?
you power on the PC and it does what?, in order of what happens, what screens happen,?
is this windows? or not?
does the windows login happen?
and does the desktop happen?
and does your browser (unstated) work right, and can cruise the www?

try to enter the system using safe mode by entering f8 when you turn on the laptop, log on as administrator and try to restore your laptop to an earlier time, go to all program accessories, system tools, system restore..

Try with the browser getting updated to the latest version and if this doesn't help you try with another browser of the latest version of course.

I forgot my password

You can go to Facebook ( www.facebook.com ) and look at a link under of a password input. Click on that link, and it will resend password to your mail. Of course, you must give your account mail to first input (e-mail input).

Perhaps you should go to your E-mail settings and changed your e-mail password your still lucky cause the person who can open your e-mail and knows the password didn't change it.

Problem opening attachment

hmmm..opening attachments is NOT for the meek of spirit. Sounds to me if the attachment is encrypted(PGP?) or other approach, it's a key issue. PW is required, of course. You could send a note back to the sender, asking for it to be pasted in the body of the email too.
