SOURCE: hitachi projector temp light

This is what your projector's user manual says about a flashing "TEMP" light :

"The cooling fan is not operating. Turn the power OFF and wait approximately 20 minutes. After the main unit has cooled down, please make confirmation that no foreign matter has become caught in the fan, etc. After performing any needed maintenance, turn the power ON again; if the same display is displayed, then please contact a sales store or a service company."

SOURCE: whirlpool microwave model # MH6150XLQ

Yes, there is. If you go to searspartsdirect.com and type in your model number, you will find the fuse listed under the "Interior Parts" heading as item number 14 (part #815174). You can find appliance fuses much cheaper at the local hardware store. Just make sure it is the correct type and rating (refer to the fuse in the appliance for the information - these are usually a 120V 20A fuse). The reason I mention this site is because they provide excellent part drawings and provide part numbers. There should also be a wiring diagram located behind the control panel to assist you in troubleshooting. Please go to my profile and use the "Ask Me" feature if you require further assistance. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: power (maybe internal fuse)

This sounds like either the power supply&Ballast is blown. Or the lamp blew out. Take the lamp out, look at the bulb to see if it is frasted heavily or just broken. If not you might want to send it in for repairs.

SOURCE: during play, entire unit went off and will not turn on. No lights, nothing

there is a bimetal circuit breaker on the lamp housing that will cut the power if it gets too hot. it needs to be reset, but you have to remove the top to get to it.

Hitachi 1350 projector dead, no power. cleaned everywhere, changed the bulb, nothing I do gets power into it.

I assume the projectors are of similar age and have similar useage history? Not certain why they would fail together, but the most probable cause is faulty switch mode power supplies. The electrolytic capacitors in these supplies a relatively short working life, especially when installed in high temperature environments - like a video projector. new caps in the supplies may be all that's required to solve the issue. If you have other similar projectors, they may well be approaching the same problem.

Any reasonably competent TV repair tech should be able to check the supplies for you, and repair them if found faulty :o)

Dead hitachi 443

This unit uses a DC to DC converter, and it is very sensitive to voltage spikes, it does have a fuse on the power supply and it also has 4 solid states fuses that look like transistors and resistors on the power supply board.

NO power, no lights, possibly there was a flash before it went of

The internal fuse is normally located very near the power plug socket and usually a Buss glass fuse, rated 5 amps? If you get to it, check the metal end for the rating. You have to remove the top cover to get at it...remember, the problem could be the fuse--or the power supply section has failed.--Rick

Internal fuse

HI
Check that you use another power outlet, see that the power cord pins are clean, and not burnt or use a new cord, the connection at the projector makes a GOOD connection with the new cord.
You will need a multimeter to check if there is voltage at the inside of the projector cord connection. You will have to remove the internal fuse before you check the the voltage inside. If all looks good then you will have a fault on the circuit board-shorted component on power supply side or further in on the circuit(need an electronic tech for this).Hope this helps--Jay
