Curling iron no longer heats & difficulty finding an affordable replacement.Power light comes on but the "wand" remains cold. If it was the cord, the light wouldn't come on, right? Is it fixable?

sounds like a loose connection in the power transfer, some piece of metal may be broken or the cord itself may be damaged in some place, you could try replacing the cord. I would just go and buy a new iron. They aren't all that expensive anymore. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I hope you solve your problem. I have the same problem with my black and decker iron. I will not buy orrecommend this iron to anyone.

I dont believe you can get replacement heads for non-professional clippers. If you are going to invest in a new pair you could go to Sally's Beauty Supply and purchase a pair that you could always get a replacement head for.
If you dont want to invest in a new pair you could bring that pair in there and see if any of the replacement heads they have may fit. There is usually eather 2 or 4 screws that will go in there. You could find one that looks the same and it may just work! Good Luck!
