Based on a youtube video by shopjimmy, I continuity tested it and found that the short went away at the SU board. I replaced both the SU and SD board and the problem still persists. The TV has no picture when powering on and I do not have control of the TV. Please help. Thank you!
Did you test the y buffer board?

My Vizio TV only has three boards in it. Power Supply, Motherboard, and Display. When mine went bad, it was the motherboard.

have you already checked the power supply section sir?power failure are often cause by a faulty capacitors at the power supply section.have a close look at the capacitors if you notice a deformed/bulging capacitors replace it and also resolder the components at the power supply board..

That can be caused by either the SC or SD board. Contact the people at www.tvrepairworld.com they can assist with proper diagnosis and they also should have the replacement board
check the connections. if the ribbon cables are seated correctly, this will cause picture issues.
