It can mean one of two things. You did not use an HE ( High energy detergent) or you used to much so there are too many suds in the washer. It can also mean that if you are using warm water, the hot water is not coming in, so you would need to make sure the hoses are connected correctly, the hot water is turned all the way on and that the little filter at the end of the hose (washer end) is clean.

for that model you should not be using more than 1 tablespoon
let is set for an hour or so then start a full load of towles with no soap
it should be fine after that

I can suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair information on washing machines and other appliances. I think you'll find what you need there. this is a tachogenerator fault or the drive motor brushes are faulty. you will need a Miele service tech or a Miele service agent to look at this.
