Human traffickers are invariably criminals, often violent criminals who mostly will stop at nothing to protect themselves.

The trafficked people are invariably duped into believing they are going to a better life and will pay a disproportionately large fee that is usually borrowed. It later transpires the fee doesn't cover the entire cost and the person remains in debt to the traffickers.

The trafficked people aren't unintelligent and know they are taking a huge risk but are usually so desperate they are willing to believe anything but will remain afraid.

The trafficked people are therefore frightened for their safety, knowing they are disposable from the point of view of the traffickers, afraid of everything being wasted if their presence is detected by the authorities where they have been trafficked to, they are heavily in debt with amounts they couldn't possibly repay, expecting a period of virtual slavery as they are treated as the property of either the traffickers or the slavers they are typically passed on to.

What are effects of human trafficking?

Apart from the cost in human misery you presumably mean?

Excluding that the effects depend on what the trafficked humans are used for, which is invariably one of several types of slavery, though some relatively "honest" traffickers just take their extortionate fees and leave the trafficked people to become ******* immigrants working in the black economy until they are discovered by the authorities.

Most trafficked people will be in domestic slavery, prostitutes and similar, slaves working under gangmasters on farms, in warehouses, factories or ships or even packaging drugs for shipment...

People trafficking, like any organised ******* activity, produces extraordinary untaxed profits for a few individuals that can destabilise a local economy and deprive the National purse of revenue meaning ordinary citizens must pay more for services.

Did Bill Clinton pass a law in 1996 seperating kids from their illegally parents in the USA

There is no federal law that stipulates that children and parents be separated at the border, no matter how families entered the United States. An increase in child detainees separated from parents stemmed directly from a change in enforcement policy repeatedly announced by Sessions in April and May 2018, under which adults (with or without children) are criminally prosecuted for attempting to enter the United States:

Trump's claim is complete B.S. This is totally a presidential POLICY decision, not based on any law. Period. No facts back up Trump's claim. None.

Claims that the “law to separate families” was passed in 1997, those claims originated with a February 2018 Department of Homeland Security statement referencing “ are exploited by minors, family units, and human smugglers.” The DHS statement claimed existing immigration policies “create a pull factor that invites more ******* immigration and encourages parents to pay and entrust their children to criminal organizations.”

However, neither the 1997 Flores settlement nor a 2008 human trafficking law cited in that release in any way stipulated that the government separate children from their parents:

Are there human traffickers throughout them US?

Not sure on which story you are talking about but yes indeed there are human traffickers in the US but they normally target children that are runaways , homeless or sleeping in the street as it is fairly easy to identify these type of kids , and usually the offer of some sort of work is enough to lure them in and once picked up and taken to a location they then find out they are captive and have very little way to escape . This goes on all over the world mostly from Third world countries but western countries are not immune and are also a target .
