You can just buy a new remote. Test it using the smartphone front camera trick. Or it is the television that has no signal, do a Power Reset. Pull the mains plug for 5 minutes. Press and hold the power button on the set for 1 minute. Plug back in. Also check the input leads on the back for whatever is supplying the signal, Cable, Satellite, OTA, then check the Source button on the remote.

But it did contain a phone and address that may have a manual for your remote..go to the following webpage, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to get there phone number and address.

I charge a flat rate of $100 + return shipping for the repair/reconditioning of this power supply.
I accept payment via PayPal, Check and Money Order. If you are paying by PayPal I will invoice you at a email address you provide (usually your normal paypal address) after repairs are completed. If you pay by check or money order you will need to include payment with the power supply (if you would prefer not to send it with it ok but will slow down the turn around time).
For return shipping; if you are sending a check or money order just include the same amount as what it costs you to ship it to me. It sounds like the remote needs to be replaced. Below is the procedure you would follow to obtain a replacement remote from COBY.
To obtain a replacement part from COBY, you must follow these instructions: Please send:
1.A money order made out to COBY Electronics in the amount of $6.00 (FOR EACH PART ORDERED! -- TFDVD batteries cost $18.00) 2.A note with your full name, phone number, and return address. 3.A note detailing the model number of the device/unit and the part being requested. 4. If you're requesting a replacement remote please write the numbers found on the back of the remote on the note mentioned above.
We strongly suggest you either send the above requirements via certified mail OR with delivery confirmation which is available from the post office. And please hold on to your money order receipt/stub.
COBY will not make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will be charged. Please mail the above requirements to:

Try eBay.com. They have a lot of Universal Remote controllers for various brands. Check them out' Also you may browse the following link for a UK supplier. They ship these remote controllers against orders and original and genuine Yamaha TSS-10 Remote controllers priced at UK Pounds 17.95 and have stock of these with them.
A universal remote will work the simple commands like volume and channels, but it will not work the menu and settings for the set. You can get a original from LG for about 80 bucks or so, or you can go to http://www.remotes.com and enter your model and order online at a cost of 52.00 + shipping or call 1-800-remotes. These are exact replacement remotes. Just as good as the original.. Good Luck
