SOURCE: replacing motherboard on gateway computer case

They can if the accessories of your motherbrd fit the rear of the case. I have the same case and the rear accessory plate is not interchangable, thus making it hard to replace the board.

SOURCE: does two watches have the same case number??

If you have two sets of numbers that are the same, then I would expect a third number (the serial number) to be present on both watches also.

Your best bet is to contact Rock Island Auctions to determine the age and model of this firearm. Another source of information is the Blue Book Of Firearms Values by F.P. Vjestad, which is updated annually.

What is the year of manufacture of my Smith & Wesson 686 serial number AYJ3178 ?

Smith & Wesson introduced the Model 686 in 1980. It is the stainless steel version of the 586, which was a blued steel finish. It was chambered for .357 Magnum and .38 S&W Special +P calibers. They are available ported and unported with a choice of 6 or 7 round cylinders.

I have a smith and Wesson sn#5343 looking for some info about it

Hard to tell from one pic. It might be a .32 rimfire single action, model 1 1/2, they call it. 1878-1892. Serial range 1-97599. It could be a second model, similar to First Model, except irregular shaped sideplate. Does it cock itself when you pull the trigger? (UNLOADED!!!) That would be double action, and second model earliest, 1880-1884. Serial range approx. 4001-approx. 119000. Do you know the caliber? If it is .38, it is later. This should be plainly marked on the barrel.

What is the manufacture date on a s&w model 1899 serial #555218

My research shows that the S&W model 1899 had a fairly limited run with serial numbers running from 1 to 20,975, spanning the years 1899 to 1902. These weapons were ordered by both the Navy and the Army, but were found to be inadequate during the Philippine Insurrection. The original models were chambered for .38 caliber but later models were chambered for the ".38 Special" which carried a larger powder load and heavier bullet. These too, were found to be inadequate and the military subsequently moved toward the Model 1911 Colt in .45 ACP which had better knock down power.
