Hi,
is it the far right lamp that blinking? Then you have to descale your machine.
Is it the lamp in the middle in the bottom row, then you have to open the door and take out the driptray and dregsbox for 5 to 10 sec.
if the water drop flashing then you have to open the steam knob and make a cup of water(tea).

SOURCE: Error message #1
E1 message means "Fail to initialise stepping motor for zig zag" Either something has jammed the mechanism (broken needle, thread etc) or the stepping motor has failed....if you cannot find obstruction easily, then this is one to send to the Janome service centre for assessment and repair

Most likely, if your unit is not powering up to the TiVo Central screen, you have a hard drive problem. You might consider a replacement TiVo hard drive.
