SOURCE: whch melts faster dry ice

Dry ice melts faster because it's colder. Therefore it's easier to melt the dry ice.

SOURCE: They have stopped making the brand of litter I have always bought for my cats litter box so I will need to find a new one. I have been told that cats do not adapt well to new litter. What can I do t

I would recommend adding a small amount of the new litter in with the older product. Slowly you can start adding more and more newer product to the litter box until your cat receives the change without any problems.

It is recommended to completely empty and clean the litter box once a week, and then refills it with new litter.

Replacement ice maker dispenses ice that has cloudy residue as ice melts

This is a physics issue due to the minerals that are present in your water. When the water is let into the ice maker, the minerals are dissolved in the solution, when the water freezes the molecules are brought closer together and the minerals are squeezed out. When the ice melts the minerals drop down to the bottom of the glass because they are cold and out of solution. The process is called precipitation of solids. The common mineral are lime, calcium, fluoride and many other organic substances. It wont hurt you it just looks bad.

What melts ice faster sand cat litter or mineral rock salt

Mineral rock salt by far. Sand cat litter only gives better traction on snow or ice.

What is the best litter to use?

The majority of this choice is left up to your cat; however you do have some say in the matter. I think that the best litter is one that is made from natural, non-toxic ingredients. I spent some time researching cat litter when I first got a cat and my research revealed that cats tend to prefer litter that most resembles beach sand. I would look for an unscented, clumpable litter.

I bought a used taylor ice cream machine. It is model number 8756-27 and it was manufactured in 1987. It is a water cooled machine ... Do you know how much water it uses daily?

You use ICE, not water and then rock salt is added over the ice to lower the temperature for making the ice cream.

The salt hastens the melting of the ice and thus lowers the temperature.

THAT I HAVE A RIVAL 8804 iCE CREAM MAKER AND IN THE WEB SAID THAT I NEED ROCK SAL AND I NO HAVE BUT I HAVE THE MILK,ICE,VANILLA BUT I NO HAVE THE ROCK SAL AND I HAVE A QUESTION THAT IF I NO HAVE THE ROCK...

Rock salt is also used to make ice cream. It is not actually used in the ice cream mixture; rather, it is used to melt the ice surrounding the can holding the ice cream, causing the ice to melt at a lower temperature, thus lowering the temperature of the ice bath and quickening the freezing process.
