After reviewing the manual ( http://www.manualslib.com/manual/306783/Sanyo-Dp26640.html#manual - page 6), it does not appear that this television has an analog output. A fix to this problem would be to purchase a digital to analog audio converter (just Google this) and some inexpensive solutions are available.

Check and replace the main system control memory IC. Before doing anything; just try a hard reset first. If it do not help you, do the replacement said above. There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset.
