See below for specific description; but, I would guess your battery has a short. Maybe, your alternator/charging system is overcharging and is essentially boiling the battery internals. F06 The charger detected that the battery may be getting too hot (thermal runaway). The charger automatically shuts the current off if it detects the battery may be getting too hot or the battery may have a shorted cell. Have the battery checked or replaced.

SOURCE: whirlpool awo3561 fault showing as f06? what does

"F06" is a Motor Speed error code. It means the motor is not spinning, or you have a loss of commuincations between the Motor Control Unit (MCU), Central Control Unit (CCU) or Drive Motor. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r714929-f06_error_whirlpool_duet_kenmore_elite

The easiest place to start would be to verify all your connections between the Drive Motor and MCU are intact and not corroded. Then, perform resistance checks on the Drive Motor windings.

For ease of troubleshooting, UNPLUG the washer and remove the top panel by removing the three screws that hold it in place in the rear of the washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back, then off. Position the washer where you have full access to the rear. Remove the back panel of washer. With the top and back removed you will have full access to the CCU, MCU and Drive Motor.

If you have questions along the way, or if you require addtional assistance, please let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

SOURCE: indesit 123 FAULT F06

I had this error and engineer said the meaning of the codes on the web are wrong as they don't like to disclose their real code meanings for pure protectionism reasons. F06 on IWD7145 is a burnt out door interlock IDC error. He replaced the part number C00085194 (replacement door interlock) and microritardator part number 085194 and it works ok now.

hi, okay there two things the batteries and the charger, can you try another charger ?

1. Batteries need replacing ?? make sure battery terminal connections are tight.

2. How long are you charging the batteries for ? i hear you say that's a silly question however you be surprised how many people charge their batteries for a hour then remove the charger.

3. Is the charger faulty ?

4. there is a remote possibility of a controller fault however this is not common..

In relation to the charger if you're in the UK, I offer a free testing service , you only pay the return postage...

My toshiba equium a200 does not charge even though the charger is plugged in. Is this a charger or a bettery problem?

This fault could be battery or charger related. As a matter of fact, it could be coming from both components too.
The simplest way to go about this is try using your charger on a compatible laptop or machine and see if it works. If it does, then you can be sure that it is coming from your battery.
On the other hand, you can remove your battery and try using it with another compatible machine. This is not very advisable as damage could be done to the battery in the process of removing and fixing it in a new machine again. It is best advised that you try testing it with a charger you have confirmed works properly.

Please could you advise my Panasonic video recorder has a F06 error code and the cassette is stuck is there anything I can do?

You appear to have a K-deck mechanism. F06 means mechanism locks during unloading. The cause of which is the load motor and the carriage alignment. Which might explain the stuck cassette. If you look around the net for "Panasonic K Mech" you should find a load of free service information on it.
