A new cable, is first.
the reboot the router only, do fast reset do not to the long 30 second reset or you erase all your setting in it , OK?
of that fails the ethernet driver is wrong.
or the OS is corrupted.
no idea what 20k3 is. nor docking station model?'this?
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 20K3
is the Ethernet wired to the docking station actual.
reload the OS fresh?
boot to USB media with unbuntu V17, on it.
if ethernet works Now, then your OS is bad on the 20k3.
is the router in a cool place, fresh cool air there.
or on window ledge baking in the hot summer sun.
do other computers wire to the router, run ok.
is the routers setting for timed usage turned OFF.
Check these things: reboot the computer and all network hardware (switch, modem, wifi, everything) try a new cable, try a different port on the switch, look inside the ports (computer and switch) and make sure none of the contacts are out of their little slot and twisted. uninstall the device (device manager) and reboot to force it to reinstall.

Hi,
In some Acer models, there is a software switch in Start/All
Programs/Acer Launch Manager. If this is missing, you need to reinstall
since even with the WiFi hard switch activated, this application is required. This is so especially if a
new/clean/OEM install of the OS has been done on the laptop.
In some models, there is a hard switch either at the front or at the side to activate the internal wifi (and bluetooth). Still in other, there is button on the leading edge of the computer which also serves as an indicator lamp,
Some models also have WiFI enable/disable in the BIOS/CMOS setup.
Still others have a button along with the Easy-launch strip (top) together with the those for email , bluetooth , Acer Arcade & others.
As shown above, depending on the specific model/region version of your laptop, the WifI activation can be varied.
Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.

Hi You can Try
Error Code 5100
Solution 1:
Clean the timing strip.
Solution 2:
The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .
Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism.

Hi,
This computer is designed only for upto Windows Vista 64bit OS. What you can do is Identify the Brand and Model number of each component that needs drivers. Then visit the website of each component for their Windows 7 drivers. Should you find yourself a dead end, last option is to install the highest Windows version which is Vista 32bit or 64bit. TIP: Vista works great if updates are controlled.
This the link for your Lenovo 3000 C100 drivers.

The same model Lenovo
can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you
know exactly which one is installed in your Lenovo, you need to download all
the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver.
When you download the
drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record
of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are
located on your hard drive.
Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB
site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for
your model computer, Use this link: -
