Door stuck closed on a Miele Novotronic W+862!

I've a Miele Novotronic W-862 washing machine and the door is stuck closed with clothes inside!

Big frustration because the door will not open for anything -- plugged in or not.

Can anyone help me?

    Don't think so but it's full of clothes. :_(

    It could be overloaded. The open button is not working. What can I do to unload the clothes?

I'm not sure if you have done this, but open the pump door (the little panel at the bottom left - it opens from the top hinged at the bottom) and slowly drain the machine by unscrewing the large knob inside - do it gently and in small stages or you'll flood the room.
Once you've done that you should be able to open the door by pulling on the orange tab that is also behind the pump door.

The motherboard governs the release of the door so I'm afraid you need to contact plumber. you could try unplugging it and seeing if it will release after few minutes

Miele washing machine novotronic w505. I did a laundry, just back and found the machine without power / no electricity. It seems and laundry made well. I opened the door handle&clean the filter.
Usuali, there is no fuse inside miele washing machine. One possibility is, that switch for closed door is not working properly. Try to close door with some more force. If that does not help, switch is gone, or something inside on machines "brain"

How do i open the filter door for a miele novotronic w526 washing machine?
There should be a plastic tool on the inside of the detergent drawer. It's a flat spatular type tool (mine is bright yellow). Then there is a spot on the little door where the tool fits in and you can use it to gently lever the door open.

Miele Novotronic W 832 washer won't turn on. It suddenly turned off after trying to open the door and now it won't turn back on. I tried switchinging powersources, didn't work.
Make sure the door is properly closed!!! The door opener is electric, and the electrics are turned off unless the door is properly closed, hence with the door closed but not fully "home" you will neither be able to re-open the door nor wash what is in the machine. Just give the door a firm push closed and it should spring to life.

Open the door manually.
Open the drain flap on front left bottom
The door release can be seen hanging, pull the cord, the door will open.
Close and open the door 2 or 3 times and your machine will work ok.

Believe it or not the door sometimes needs to be slammed - try it and see if it works - if not the lock needs to be aligned with the latch
