The element that you see has a filament down the middle of it and it usually is packed with a mineral that can handle the heat The filament moves when it heats and can work its way to the edge of the element wall; Replace the element

SOURCE: frigidaire ceramic top self cleaning stove

Have you thought about reading the manual, it states that the heat goes off and on to maintain the proper heat while cooking, You should turn the burner off a few minutes before done because even on off the burner is still cooking while it is cooling down to go off. And you do not need to have as high of heat to cook that's what so great about this ceramic tops you save time and energy.

SOURCE: The bottom element stopped working

If the element is good then the problem must be the thermostat /switch is not working (a common fault) or you have a wiring fault which is rare. Check out the thermostat/switch controlling the bottom element and replace if necessary.

What's wrong and how do I fix it?

The circuit breaker outside in the power panel for the stove has a bad breaker. It will be two breakers with their handles joined together by a pin so if one tripe it takes the other so 220 V is no longer present. When one, but not the other trips you only have 110 V. That's why the lights and clock still work but no heating elements.

Where are the fuses located in a frigidare stove

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

I understand you are seeking the fuses location in your Frigidaire range. May I please have your model number? You can typically locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) in the storage drawer, on the right side. Please describe what your appliance is doing so that I can assist you better in pinpointing the problem before you take this step. Thanks!

My the right inner element of my Frigidaire Pro Series Stove does NOT turn on.

Have you tested the element with a multi meter just looking at the wont always tell you that it's not open circuit or if there is wiring fault,if you run either elements independently on one switch then your stove may just have a burnt out wire on the selector switch hope this helps !!!

Dual element burner on glasstop range...inner element stays on

It is the burner control (behind the knob). The triac in the control has failed. $50 item, 10 minute change. Just make note which wire goes to which terminal.

I doubt that it is the control board, as the board has little to do with the stove top, but rather controls the display and the oven temperature/feedback monitoring.

Hope this helps.

your stove is 220 volts, the lights, clock and controls, they work on 110 volts, and when there is a short on the 220 part of the stove, the elements work on 110 volts.that's the reason they only get warm. there is a short in your stove.
