SOURCE: not turning back on after sleep mode
I had the same problem when I first bought my Acer Aspire One a few weeks ago. I searched the web for answers, but it didn't really seem like anyone had a solution. However, one guy on a forum or website said something that gave me an idea - he said something like: What's the problem? Just open it up, hit the power button, type your password, and it wakes up.
Well, that didn't seem helpful to me at the time that I read it, but after thinking about it, I had a hunch. I had not set up my netbook to have a password (yet). So I did. And it's been waking up from sleep mode like it should ever since!!!
Hopefully, if you're reading this, setting a password will work for you, too. If you don't know how to set a password, here goes... Start...Control Panel...User Accounts...Change an Account...[Pick your name.account]...then the option to create a password should come up. Let us know if this works for you!
SOURCE: screen goes blank every 30 second, have to hit the
go to control panel > power options. Turn off hibernate and sleep mode, change all settings to never sleep and change the setting for "when closing the lid" to "do nothing" sleep mode, hibernation can destroy the registry on these laptops, you are better off turning that garbage off and just letting it run.

SOURCE: Can't start the dishwasher, lock button is lit up.
Hello Albert, On the Jenn-Air dishwasher you have, you have to hold down the "Heated Dry" button for 3-5 seconds to unlock the control panel.
This should unlock the controls so you can again use the dishwasher normally.
Since you''re likely going to have this dishwasher for some time, I've included a link where you can download a free owner's manual for it.
I would print out a copy for your future use and reference. I also have a file on my computer that I title "Home Appliances and Equipment" which is where I download and save an electronic copy so I always have a backup copy saved, since manuals aren't always readily available on the web, as the appliances get older.

The info on locking and unlocking the dishwasher can be found on page 13 of the manual.
I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

I have looked in the settings then display, for me to change the setting,it has to be out, which it isn't. I was wondering if there is something else that I clicked on to change this as I can't remember. Was looking for a quick fix...
