I tried locating a manual for your machine but was unsuccessful. Most serger cutting blades can be disengaged by pressing it to the right and then flipping up. Otherwise, I can't offer any other ideas. However, if you want to stitch without using the cutting blade engaged, it is not a good idea. The cutting blade prevents excess fabric from flopping over into the loopers and can cause them to be damaged or broken.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have the manual but it only tells you how to change the blade/s if need be and there is no mention anywhere as to whether it can be disengaged or not

It might be that u have cut the pin & must change both blades
