Hi L Stuchell, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?

Can you describe what isn't working as you expect? Is it a problem with parts not fitting, or the unit never getting warm?

SOURCE: Water supply for Bunn coffee maker

open the cover on the brewer- depending on your model, it could be the front or the back cover. look for a brew timer dial. turn this up slowly, running a brew each time to see if you now have a full pot

SOURCE: Bunn coffee maker leaks water

There are 3 seals in your unit that could cause your problem. there is a silicon seal right under the pour-in tray, and two on the top of the tank. one of those is for the thermostat, the other is for the sprayhead tube. any of these could leak, causing water to come out the bottom of the brewer. One other thing that can cause this is a scale buildup between the pour-in tray and the tank.

SOURCE: Bunn 10 cup home coffee brewer is leaking from the

These models have a plastic pour-in tray just under the top lid. The plastic on these trays gets brittle over time with the heating and cooling, and they crack where they mount to the tank. The only real way to repair this is to replace the pour-in tray, but these are not sold anywhere that I have found. You might be able to find a used one at a Bunn dealer in your area.
I have seen some people do a temporary repair by putting a washer under the mounting bolt and sealing it with silicone, but this is a temp. fix at best. By the way, the reason that the water appears to be coming from the bottom of the machine is that there is no other place for the water to come out after it leaks from the top.

Please give Customer Service a call with the model and date code. If the machine is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced with a new machine. If it is older than 3 years, it can be exchanged for a reduced price.

Bunn-o-Matic HB coffee maker. How do you read the date code on it please?

Question edited for clarity and toss in a load of CAPS.

It is dated with a non intuitive, none readable code. You can see examples here.

Where is my Date Code? BACK OF BREWER Sticker on the lower back of brewer BOTTOM OF BREWER Sticker attached to the bottom baseplate of your brewer. Note: Allow water in tank to cool. Drain water before turning over.

Our bunn NHS Velocity was unplugged accidently. Now when we make coffee it is really luke warm and the light doesn't appear on

This is really a home style VPR brewer (but looks nicer)
if you listen to their video (link below) they mention it has a pre-heated tank of water already in the brewer. This means the brewer needs to be pre-filled with a full pot of water and pre-heated prior to using the brewer. Unplugging this unit won't be a problem UNLESS it was emptied of tank water and not refilled when powered up.
* The unit will try and heat up the tank of water but if empty then just air which overheats the unit then blows the thermal fuse. Call for service.
* The warmer is still working but it's not hot enough to brew frequently as the warmer may take up to an hour to get the tank hot enough to brew or it may not get hot at all if it's own thermal fuse blew too.
* Final; call for service to be safe.

Our office is relocating and I need to prepare our Bunn coffee maker to be moved. It appears to be working fine now, but we do live in a hard-water area. So: - Obviously we will be unplugging it. Can it be...

I work for BUNN. Yes, you can empty it - here's a link to instructions http://www.bunn.com/retail/service/faq.html#faq6

Also, it's absolutely a perfect time to do the Periodic Cleaning of your brewer - here's a link to instructions for using vinegar to thoroughly clean your brewer. http://www.bunn.com/retail/service/cleaning.html

If you want to move the brewer without draining, please be sure to unplug it and let the water cool for about 6 hours before moving it (the water inside is 200 degrees). Then, when you get to the new location you can just plug it in and let it heat up.

Any other questions, please let me know. [email protected]

Directions

pour the water into the top, just as you would to make a pot of coffee, making sure the brewer is not plugged in. keep filling the brewer until the water comes out the sprayhead, then plug it in and let it heat up, and you are ready to brew.
By the way, operating instructions are available at no cost from www.bunn.com

Water over filling pot

There is a brew timer on the left side of your machine near the heater switch. you need to remove an access panel to access it. turn this down a little, let the water heat up, then try another brew. Adjust as needed, brewing another pot between each setting.

Bunn Cooffee Maker is not making full pots of coffee

I would ask if this machine has been moved lately- for cleaning or has anyone put anything new around the brewer? If someone has moved this brewer, they might have caused a kink in the line coming to the back of the brewer. this will restrict the water flow to the brewer. this will cause the brewer to brew only part pots of coffee.
