The window that come on my lg tv this function is not available

in remote there are all functions which are not available in TV...in TV you locate menu option and fix if possible by you...

If you have a cable box (otherwise known as a set-top-box) that you have to turn on when you turn the tv on, and you use to change your cable channels, the LG remote will not control it. The LG remote is strictly for the tuner built into the television, and is not capable of controlling the cable box.

You probably see "function not available" because you are viewing the picture on an external input of the tv (component, composite, etc). Your tv cannot tune stations in when it is set to an external input that you use to watch DVD's, cable boxes, games, and other devices. The tv is telling you that you can't change channels if it is on an input.
