Test the incoming signal by connecting a tv directly to the antenna downlead (booster disconnected). The general rule is there should be enough good clean signal to operate at least one tv properly otherwise there is little point using a booster.

If the tv operates correctly the booster should provide enough signal to operate all 3 tv sets, assuming there is nothing wrong with the wiring; coaxial cable, connections and so forth.

If the test tv doesn't operate you will need to revisit the antenna, the positioning and aim and the downlead. Sun, rain, wind and frost can ruin an aerial downlead in a few years.

My 2 tv's have weak or no signal. So cannot be individual tv. I have a booster so am presuming booster needs replacing. Tv's worked previously. Any ideas?

This is an old question but it is still relevant. If the problem is
WIFI related make sure you check compatibility of security settings. Some TVs will not work well with the higher router security settings which will create a random disconnect problem. There are also DNS settings you can set manually that can help but you will need to contact Samsung for the correct numbers. If the problem is hard wire cable signal and inline boosters you will need to contact your provider. The inline boosters do fail and need replacing. It can also be a problem outside your home is a nearby distribution hub. If you are at the end of the line everything that is not working quite right will affect your signal.

How to tune a tv channel

This could be too much signal.

Just to be sure though, try the set in another room where one of the other TVs works okay. This will help you see if it's a cable or a TV signal issue. If you pick up all the channels okay it's likely that that other TV point has some bigger signal losses due to the cabling.

The mux (transmitter channel) carrying the BBC signals will be amongst the strongest at each and every TV transmitter across the land. This is because the BBC and the main ITV channels have to reach about 96% of the mainland UK population in order to the broadcasters to fulfill their remit.

TV tuner sensitivity varies between brands and models. It may be that your old TV was just about okay with the signal power, but the new TV's tuner is over saturated.

A simple and inexpensive diagnosis tool is a variable attenuator. The MA1620 on this page is perfect for that job:
Splitters amplified splitters and attenuators

It will give you a way to reduce the signal level at one TV without affecting the other TVs in the house.

My signal strength is really bad on my TVs. Should I buy a new antenna?

The more tvs you have hooked up to the same antenna, the lower the signal strength. Therefore you should get an antenna amplifier or get a new antenna with a stronger signal.

Is there a WIFI Signal Booster out there for a Westell A90-750015-07 Router/Modem?

you don't need a signal booster. Instead what you need is a WIFI signal repeater. This device basically captures your router's signal and repeat it to other devices. Basically place is somewhere between the router and your computer.

There are many out there but here's a cheap one on ebay

hi when fitting an new aerial line you need to put a splitter in the line.
4963215_1-oo4k03phwtyaxld0gomgkgbv-2-0.jpg it looks like this. they say satellite/tv on them this will stop interference from the boosters and the tvs on the same line, you connect it on the main arial line. you can then use both boosters if signal is weak but most digital aerials are good enough without them. it you have the right arial for your area. there are meany sizes. but say you are 15 miles from your tower then use a small aerial has the same fitting as this pic. that is out side aerials, inside aerials ie in loft you need a high gain aerial , long type. hope this helps. also if the aerial is not lined up it will not get great signal there is an app you can use on iphone or androids, tables etc to help you position the aerial in the right place it's called Uk aerial alignment . tool on app shows you the towers in your area and the best ones to use and shows you the aliment to the tower for best results. good luck

Hi,
you may want to try changing the coaxial aerial cable that feeds the tv, these can go faulty. also if you are running a series of tvs off one aerial, you should be using an aerial booster, other wise you will get a signal drop (as displayed on your tv).
If these small things don't cure it, the set requires replaceing as the tuning card is knackered

I have three tvs in my house all off the same ariel. The tv in lounge ok as is the one in 1st bedroom. In our bedroom keep losing signal, have had a booster fitted recently.

I expect the connections could be in need of attention. Check the point where they are connected via that booster. If you have a portable to test the bedroom and rule out the tuner in the bedroom TV?
Hope that helps.

Sky wired up by a basic splitter in loft want to use red eye.

Your vocabulary is not helping I will make some assumptions.
1 you have an antenna setup and want to have three tvs use it.
2 I don't know what sky is so I am going to ignore it.

from the antenna you will run a short length of rfcoaxial to a splitter\booster witch is powered this will allow you to split the signal to 4 or two or three tvs your choice. all tvs will need coax or rf cable run to them and btw 300 ohm cable is not called rf
coaxial cable is preferred because of its signal insulating properties and its longer life expectancy and all tvs today have coaxial inputs on them not 300 ohm.

Wireless signal low

Get a better wireless router.

Change the location your using your laptop in.

Google your problem with hack as a keyword to read about how people can use woks to increase signal strength but watch out for laws about radiation and frequencies.

Consider getting a booster to relay your signal.

Check for wireless phones or radios, pay TVs etc. that could be affecting your signal.
