Entrance light on Lift Master garage door opener won't stay on when door is opened ?

Light Feature
Activate the Light Feature

Close the garage door.
Start with the garage door opener lights "ON".
Press and hold the light button for 10 seconds. (Upon pressing the light button, the lights will immediately turn off and come on 10 seconds later.)

Deactivate the Light Feature

Close the garage door.
Start with the garage door opener lights "OFF".
Press and hold the light button for 10 seconds. (Upon pressing the light button, the lights will immediately turn on and go off 10 seconds later.)

Light Timer
Press the Light button to turn the opener light on or off. It will not control the opener lights when the door is in motion. If you turn it on and then activate the opener, the light will remain on for 4-1/2 minutes. Press again to turn it off sooner. The 4-1/2 minute interval can be changed to 1-1/2, 2-1/2, or 3-1/2 minutes as follows:

Press and hold the Lock button until the light blinks (about 10 seconds).
A single blink indicates that the timer is reset to 1-1/2 minutes.
Repeat the procedure and the light will blink twice, resetting the timer to 2-1/2 minutes.
Repeat again for a 3-1/2 minute interval, etc., up to a maximum of four blinks and 4-1/2 minutes.

Sony tv will not turn on stand by timer light blinking

Try as suggested to count the blinks to see if it is an error code or not. blinks will be in a sequence with a pause and blink the same number of times over and over.

Since the set appears to "recover", it suggests either a poor solder connection or bad cap somewhere in the power supply. The 7 blinks indicate the problem circuit is in the horizontal area. Check the regulator (STRxxxx) IC in the power supply. If you do not have experience working with TVs, please refer this repair to a shop. The regulator IC costs around $25.

1 Turn on the MAIN POWER switch to go
into stand-by mode.
In stand-by mode, the STAND BY indicator on the
projector lights up.
2 Press the following buttons on the
projector, sequentially.
1 Momentary press the PC button.
2 Momentary press the ENTER button.
3 Momentary press the EXIT button.
4 Press and hold the HIDE button for two seconds
or more.
* During this sequence, the STAND BY and OPERATE
indicators alternately blink about every approx. 3 seconds.
After completion of the sequence, the STAND BY indicator
alone stays on.
* Buttons must be pressed within 2 seconds of the previous
button.
* When you make a mistake in button operations, return to
the beginning of the sequence.
* To check the lamp time on the menu, press the MENU button
and select “Information” with the cursor button 5 or ∞.
The lamp use time is indicated in the item “Lamp time”.

Please count standby light blinks and let me know.
There would be pause of 3 seconds in blinks.

Turn on the TV and only Timer light is on , no sound & picture

after holding down the menu and device the led will blink a two digit error code such as 3 blinks pause then 4 blinks then repeat that sequence a couple of times. Need that blink code to help let you know whats going on. The 34 code means lamp abnormality which translates to the power Pwb capacitors have most likely failed.

There is a high voltage, and or scan failure. This can be the flyback assembly, and or other support components. If the CRT is defective, it can cause this type of shut-down.

The cost for servicing this would be fairly expensive. It would be best to start shopping for a new set.

Sony blinking lites are error codes, on an LCD proj set 3 means bad lamp, 4 a bad fan 9 a bad thermal fuse, on a direct view like yours its probably 4 or 5 blinks indicating a bad D board (sells around $250) .
or a bad video IC, so B4 you buy a D board you need to check the CRT board if it has one IC on it measure ohms across the B+ capacitors on the CRT board, if shorted the IC is shorted and also the supply resistor will be open on the D board, if its shorted the CRT may be NG.
If the CRT board has three ICs don't bother checking eem just get the D board.
