SOURCE: Bunn VPS Series Commercial coffee maker won't brew

Hello. I would like to suggest that you pour in water, with a container under the funnel, until water does come out, it sounds like the water has just evaporated too far, and it requires more than a pot to bring it to the top. In the future, if you do not use it for a day or more, you need to unplug it, or just pour a pot of water in to keep it at level, as this unit heats all the time it is plugged in, and can actually evaporate all the water away, blow the element, damage the thermostat, or worse permanently damage the unit.

here you can find the user manual:
http://bunnomatic.com/pages/techdocs/manuals/pourbrew_warm.html

Hope that helps, and thank you.

SOURCE: When I pour water into (empty) pot to fill. Bunn coffee maker

If you pour water into the machine, and water comes out, then the reservoir is full of water. There is no way the water can bypass the reservoir and go directly into the pot.

SOURCE: bunn commercial coffee maker does

If no water comes out when you pour water into the tank, then the tank is not completely full. It takes 2 full decanter to fill the bank water tank. Then when you pour in 4-10 cups of water, water should flow from the bottom of the filter basket into the decanter. If it doesn't, there might be a problem with the brewer. Please locate the model and date code located on the bottom of the machine and contact customer service for assistance.

SOURCE: My ice maker will make ice and dispense it from

Sounds like the water inlet valve is bad or the line is plugged or frozen. Take the line off for the ice maker and blow through it, you should be able to blow with no restrictions. If not then it is frozen or plugged up. To remove the tubing from the water valve, simply press evenly on the white ring and gently pull on the tubing. It will slide right out. DO NOT FORCE IT! All connections are 110 volts. For troubleshooting purpose, the smaller lines are for ice maker while all the larger lines are for the water in the door. If the unit is not producing ice, first check to be sure the ice maker is turned on--the wire that resides to the right of the mechanism should be in a downward position. Be sure the water supply is on and that there is sufficient water pressure to get it through the unit (20 psi). Temperature may also be the cause; the freezer should optimally be 0 degrees F. If the temperature is too high, adjust the setting. It may take a full eight hours before the unit begins to make ice again. If you determine the water inlet valve is not working.
If you follow the water inlet tube into the back of the unit there will be a panel to remove. Take the screws out and slide it out of the way. Continue to follow the tube to the two electric solenoid valves. one valve has a tube that goes to the ice maker. unplug the refrigerator and turn off the water supply. Then remove the water line to the solenoid valve and unplug it. Now you can remove the screws that hold it and it will be free. Replace the valve with a new one and that should get you back in business. New solenoid valves only cost $25 to $40. Hope this helps. Good luck

Bunn VPR 12-cup pourover is leaking water from the back at the bottom every time I pour water in. It leaks about 1/2 cup or more. Is there a seal or gasket I can replace to remedy this?

VPR has a semi-sealed tank that keeps +1 pot of water heated and ready to brew. Pouring in a full pot of cold water will fill the top tray and allow a slow trickle of cold water into the top which forces hot water to over flow into the brew basket. This continues until all the cold water drains into the heater tank. So the brew is matched volume per volume. UNLESS the thank was empty or not filled prior to brewing. Follow the brewing instructions from Bunn (on line for *FREE* download at Bunn.com)
* If it leaks (from the bottom) only when you pour in water. Then your pouring it too fast and over flowing the fill tray. slowdown, watch the level in the tray. do not fill past the lid.
* If it leaks just sitting (not brewing) then there is a hole in the tank. Call for service.
* If it leaks after filling the tray half way. then the top of the tank has a leak, loose, cracked, or missing gasket. There is quite a few gaskets on the lid. Call for service.
* Final; Leaks are always bad around electrical equip. Best to unplug and call for service to be safe.

My bunn will not pump any water into my pot the water is hot the plate is hot but want pump

* If this is a pour over (VPR, VPS, etc.) then you must pre fill it then pour in one pot of water to get one pot of brewing hot water out of it.
* If this has an external tank of water then it must be filled and make sure the float sensor works and pops up to indicate a filled tank.
* But most likely this is a CWTF, CW, or larger commercial brewer that has a plumbed in water line. If this is the case then the tank must be pre-filled and heater turned on. usually done by the vendor or installer. It should have been tested and brewed to check water level of brew. Follow the brewing instructions.
* Still not working? Call vendor for service. It could be timer, brew switch, water level board, water fill valve, brew valve. all need check and service to replace as needed. Many larger units have high voltages so call the tech to be safe.

PS. Check your using the correct size decanter for this brewer. If it's a 10 cup brewer then make sure all the decanters in the office is also 10 cup. Pouring a 12 cup pot into brewer will have 12 cups of coffee come out (over flowing the 10 cup pot.) Note that not all decanters are made the same size. Other brands may be different. Test by filling a pot with water (from faucet) then pouring directly into pot in question. It should match and not under fill nor over fill.

Unit leaks water from bottom bunn pouromatic

What model of Bunn is this? If it is a bx-b or any of the other home models, what has happened is that the plastic pour-in tray has become brittle and cracked where it mounts onto the tank. The only repair for this is to replace the tray with one from another brewer (possibly your local bunn Dealer has an old brewer lying around). If it is a commercial brewer (VPR, VPS, Ect) there will be a sael leaking on the top of the tank.

How do you drain all the water from the resavoir of a Bunn VPS?

Hello. Take the funnel out, under it is the spray head, remove it, unplug the unit, take it over to a sink and tilt the end that the spray head was on into the sink slowly, the water in the tank will drain out through the spray head pipe until mostly empty. You also could take the top off, take the tank lid off, and use a shop vac to vacuum all the water off, or just pour it out, probably faster, but messier :) If you need information on you unit, go to www.bunnomatic.com , chose commercial, and then on the left, choose coffee, and pour overs.

Hope that helped, and thank you.
