This model is only compatible with up to a 1GB SD card, do not use larger than that or errors may occur.

All cameras have a small internal memory, in your case three pictures, you need a memry card, your manual should tell you which type you need (although for polaroid, i think [but am not sure] thit it will be an SD card) you should probably get a 1-4 gb card, as this will let you take a few hundred photos, before you have to download them onto your computer

It says "memory full". I have a 512 mb memory card and have only taken 48 pictures.

It could be full especially if the images are stored at a very high resolution.

use the usb cord to get all your pics from the memory card, then delete them from the memory in the camera after downloading to your computer.

I cant format the pictures from camera

Try using a different memory card. Or use a memory card reader and format it using your computer.

Why does it keep saying memory full after I have only taken 6 pictures

You need to go to the store and buy Samsung S730 A-DATA 4GB SDHC Memory Card (Class 4)
It is worth about 8-20$. The memory card is used to save pictures. Here is an example: http://www.cellularfactory.com/camera/SAMSUNG/3/46100/

When I turn on camera to take picture, it says memory full. How do I clear this?

tego34:

From the user manual for this camera (click here) page 247, it says "Memory is full. If you want to record more files, delete files that you no longer need" and references page 161 in the same manual.

On page 161, it gives you the directions for deleting un-needed files (pictures).

I would suggest transferring all of your pictures to a computer using Picasa and deleting the pictures that you've taken from the camera.

If you're using the memory that is built-in to the camera, it is much too small to hold many pictures. You should buy a 2GB SD card that meets the specifications in the user manual page 180.

I have a Cannon Power Shot SD770 IS Digital 10 mega pixels for over a year, I have been able to take many pictures at a time, then my daughter used it to take a few shots, now after eight pictures are...

When you check the card on the computer does it say its full or is their space left on it? Also it sounds like it is only using the internal memory. Have you checked the settings to make sure it is using the memory card?
Thanks,
Lee
